Texas State Optical (tso) Woodlands

I recently had a fantastic experience at Texas State Optical in The Woodlands and couldn’t be happier. The staff is highly efficient and professional from start to finish. They have state-of-the-art equipment, and the doctors and technicians are truly excellent — knowledgeable, thorough, and attentive. The front desk staff was also great — friendly, helpful, and organized. What impressed me most was how they went above and beyond to get my prescription glasses completed just before a long trip. They promised they would have them ready on time, and they delivered exactly as promised. They did everything in their power to get the job done right the first time. If you need eye care or new glasses, this is the place to go. Reliable, high-quality service with a caring team. Thank you, Texas State Optical!

Cordial service right up until you have to go back for them to make corrections. After my first pair of bifocals were distorting my vision, they would only allow themselves 3 attempts to make corrections. If additional attempts were needed because they couldn't get it right, the would CHARGE ME additional fees. Charge me for something they aren't good enough to get right? The lead tech went as far as to say "we are really hoping to not hear from you again". No problem. I'll spend my money somewhere else that is better. Never coming back. I don't recommend this store.

After waiting for an hour for my eye exam I was notified by the staff that the doctor is running behind with no way of knowing how long. I had booked on my lunch hour which was already over so I decided to leave. The front desk Diane who is a super “bad word” decides to provide a third class customer service, doesn’t even attempt to reschedule me nor even apologizes after having me wait with no eye exam at the end . Instead acted as if she was more inconvenient by me asking questions then my wasted time. Shame on you !! Do better!!

My visit at the TSO in the Woodlands did not seem like an appointment with the optometrist. Dr. Win’hall was so personal, funny, professional and made me feel not like a patient, but a friend that she was trying to help. She explained every part of the examination and answered all of my questions. She also recommended future treatment to keep my eyes healthy and I also walked away seeing better! Thank you Team TSO🙂

Oh my!! I can see!!! So happy with this entire experience! Great staff, convenient location, fast service and stunningly fast delivery of my new glasses. Super helpful in understanding my choices and the insurance options to manage budget and quality. Can’t thank them enough! “That Bald Guy” and all the ladies were so much fun AND helpful! Oh and did I mention the doctor? Great people skills to go along with her medical skills. All around 100% great experience.
