I like that I didn't have to have my eyes dialated and they could scan my retina instead. My visit was thorough and quick for an eye exam for glasses. The reason I took away two stars is because my primary reason for coming in was not for an update on my eyeglasses prescription, but because I have been experiencing puffiness in the sclera of my eye and sometimes get an air bubble under the membrane which causes irritation when I blink. The reception desk seemly did not take note of this when they wrote in the appointment; they scheduled me for a basic exam culminating with a new glasses prescription. During my exam, when I asked the eye doctor about the trouble I was having, she said I needed to schedule a different kind of appointment for her to look at that. That.... was frustrating. I ended up just going over to Walgreen's and getting a couple of different kinds of eye drops. The eye doctor did ask me if I wanted a prescription for eye drops, but how am I supposed to know that? How should I know if my eye problem is caused by allergies, dry eyes, or some sort of infection. Isn't she the doctor? If all you need is an updated prescription then this place is quick, but if you have other aims then you need to be crystal clear and ask the reception to repeat back to you your needs so you can be sure they are on the same page.

Worst experience ever! I’ve I could give them negative stars that would be more fitting. Unprofessional, unorganized and unfriendly is all I can say about the doctors and the staff. Overcharged without disclosure for everything. They cancelled my appointment and didn’t bother to tell me until I took the time off work and drove there from out of town. Then had the nerve to tell me they had been trying to reach me all day. In the age of cell phones, clearly a lie! Clearly only worried about padding their income with classic bait and switch tactics.
You will regret going here. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. They upservice you— take some expensive pictures of your eyes then tell you they can use them for an extra amount of money or they can trash them. They write prescriptions for a single year. (Your insurance company only pays for contacts once every two years). They force you to purchase your lenses through them and withhold giving you a copy of your prescription to have it refilled anywhere else prior to it expiring. The optometrist was rude and condescending to our entire family in an extreme way. I wish I had read all the horrible reviews before going. Hopefully you are reading them ahead of time.
I had an appointment scheduled for a Medical eye exam. When I scheduled the appointment I was clear it was for a Medical eye exam. 7 days before this appointment the house where my son and granddaughter resides burnt down and their car ask i burnt..they lost everything. i have been frugal so I can help my son and granddaughter. I love over an hour away from Eugene where my appoinent was for. ihave a secondary insurance that would cover copays for the medical eye exam that ends the last day of the month. The Doctors office did not make sure they had the appropriate paperwork from my physician before my appointment, therefore I wasted time, time I ould helping my family clean up from last week's fire, finances that could beter utilized elsewhere and wear and tear on my not so new vehicle. I can not schedule to be seen next week due to the dr. Being in vacation next week. Unfortunately Dr. MOLLER and Vision works have lost a customer that brings her family from over an hour away for all their vision needs whenever possible. Quinn at the front desk did his best to no avail to resolve this.
I love Visionworks. However, the medical part of the center at Valley River Center is not good. Communication is terrible and rushed. When you finally decide to see another doctor they will charge you a $30 fee for your own records.
