Brittany Allen NP is the best provider I have ever found (and I’ve seen MANY throughout the country in MA, CA and OR). She educates, listens and genuinely cares. She also expresses a lot of humility and curiosity unlike most providers I have worked with where I feel talked down to and dismissed. I have made more progress in my health over the years working with her (I followed her to this new office this past year) because it feels like a collaboration to bettering my health, and I’ve had a lot of severe health issues. So relieved and grateful for her.

I have never had a doctor be so rude to me in my life. Dr. Jack Hamson had zero basic empathy or common sense to ask questions. I had the misfortune to need to go in for a crisis to not my normal doctor. He couldn’t even look at me to help me. Asked me no questions, no compassion or help. When he needed to fill out paperwork rather than getting me help from a doctor I do know that’s in that office he wrote question marks by question he could have either done his job and looked at my chart for (like pregnancy-I have my birth control method listed on my chart) or simply talking to me. 10/10 do not recommend anyone see Dr. Jack Hamson. Horrible horrible human being.

I always have a great experience at Portland Clinic Beaverton, Family Medicine Dept. Dr Chandran is very kind and understands my needs. She doesn't rush and takes the time needed. I feel very lucky to have her as my Dr! From the desk staff, to the med assistants, to Dr Chandran. You are top notch. Thank you!

On my 2nd visit to the clinic, I was checking in to access the lab. The receptionist was so impersonal, I was really put-off. As I walked in, the first thing she said was "last name". From that point on, it's all just business. "Birthday", "Were you asked to fast?" "Last time you ate?" "Go sit by the lab lobby." It would have been better to check-in with an AI. At least AI would be program to ask check-in questions with appropriate method. I am not asking for a VIP treatment, but at least with basic respect and interest to the patients who are walking into their facility to receive services they provide. I am not an object that needs to be processed. Please understand that you are dealing with a human being. The person may be having a difficult day, but that's more reason to treat others the way you want to be treated when you are having a dad day.

It can be tough to get in as a new patient, but once you're a patient, expect great care and service. Compassionate and smart providers (doctors and PAs alike), low wait times, friendly office staff, and this office covers a lot of functions. Best experience I have had with a doctor's office.
