Dr. Richard Reynolds changed my life with cataract surgery. From the first consultation through surgery and follow-up care, he was professional, compassionate, patient, and extremely skilled. I wore glasses for 45 years, so deciding to pay for the premium lenses for each eye was a big decision for me. It turned out to be the best money I ever spent. The improvement in my vision has been truly life-changing. I can see clearly again, and everyday activities that had become difficult are now easy and enjoyable. The staff at Princeton Eye Group was also caring, organized, and supportive throughout the entire process. I’m deeply grateful to Dr. Reynolds and highly recommend him to anyone considering cataract surgery. Jeannie Burke

Our family has been patients of Princeton Eye Group for many years. Overall, we’ve had excellent experiences with several physicians. My daughter had refractive surgery with Dr. Wong, which was outstanding. My husband had cataract surgery with Dr. Solarte and received excellent care. My mother has been seeing Dr. Liu for macular degeneration. Unfortunately, our most recent visit with Dr. Liu was extremely disappointing. The appointment started well. We were pleasantly surprised that everything was on time. His assistant was professional, thorough, and completed all of the necessary testing, including imaging, checking my mother’s vision, and measuring her prescription. After dilating her eyes, we waited for Dr. Liu. When he entered the room, he reviewed her chart and told us that her vision had worsened but that new glasses would help. I asked a simple question: “What is the difference between this year’s prescription and last year’s?” Instead of explaining it, he responded, “Why do you need to know? Do you understand anything about it?” His tone was dismissive, rude, and completely lacking in compassion. He handed us the prescription, and the visit was essentially over. At the front desk, we were asked to pay $60 for the glasses prescription. My mother has received prescriptions during previous visits and was never charged this fee, so I asked why. The staff member explained that it depends on the doctor, which only added to the confusion. I also mentioned that after my mother’s eyes were dilated, Dr. Lu never examined her with the slit lamp or performed what we expected to be a dilated eye examination. The front desk staff was unsure and went to ask him. She returned saying he had completed everything that was necessary. From what we observed, that was simply not the case. The most upsetting part was not the fee—it was the complete lack of communication, empathy, and respect. My elderly mother was left with blurred vision for hours after dilation without us understanding why the drops were even necessary if no meaningful dilated examination was performed.
Dr. Kevin Feng is the best scleral lens specialist! He crafted the most comfortable scleral I’ve ever had in my entire life. Truly delivered life changing improvement in my vision!
Dr. Kuchar is the most caring and compassionate eye doctor and great surgeon. My husband had a botched eye surgery by a doctor at Matossian, where his iris popped out from high eye pressure. No glaucoma specialists would help him with the botched surgical eye, until we saw Dr. Kuchar. She did surgeries on each of his eyes, and my husband has been under her care for the last several years. He can see well now, and is able to focus in with both eyes. Her knowledge about glaucoma, and her wonderful bedside manner are unsurpassed by any of the 5 ophthalmologists we saw before we found her. She is the reason my husband still leads an active and independent life.
Have my eye check here. Staffs are nice and friendly. The doctors in this group are all fully booked. An appointment is a must and often need to wait a couple weeks. The doctors here perform all kinds of eye surgery. Some of the doctors also practice in Penn Medicare group(Princeton hospital)....
