From the moment I walked through the door, I knew I was in for an amazing visit. I am a new patient at Thomas Eye Group, and this was truly the best experience from start to finish! The reception team was charming, welcoming, and attentive. Then I met Elijah for the pre-exam portion of my visit. He immediately made me feel comfortable with the process and even prepared me for the very bright light to come! He explained everything he was going to do, gave me time to transition from one part of the exam to the next, and never made me feel rushed or as though he was simply checking a box. Then there was Dr. Mellom. He was obviously knowledgeable and experienced, but what impressed me most was that he listened. I genuinely felt heard when discussing my concerns about my vision. He asked thoughtful questions about my stage of life, my daily habits, and how I transition between glasses and contacts in different environments. Finally, there was Bridget, who helped fit me for the most beautiful pair of glasses. Once again, the attention to detail and level of customer care were exceptional. In a world where healthcare can sometimes feel like people are simply checking boxes and going through the motions, Thomas Eye Group at City Springs was a breath of fresh air. The entire experience was exceptional, and I would highly recommend them!

I absolutely LOVE the Sandy Springs location and can't say enough about the office team and doctors! They were exception from scheduling to the day of visit. I was in and out in no time, they were very professional and I can honestly say that going to the eye doctor is a pleasure when it's here because of the excellent customer service they offer. I had a 10:15 appointment but was able to come in sooner so they accomodated me immediately, helped me get in and out and back to work in no time. Cannot say enough about them!
Their mistakes are YOUR problem. Buyer beware. Visited Thomas Eye Group March 4th. Had a great visit with Dr Mellom, always provides excellent, informative service. Everything was going well, until his staff broke my glasses. After the exam, I was selecting glasses and the staff member helping me asked to see my existing pair when i mentioned i wanted another pair like them. He was taking a look at them - he thought the lense was not aligned with the frame so he took it upon himself to try to adjust it with his hands. He put too much pressure on them, and before i could do anything they snapped, frame was broken. He told the manager, Katy, she did not even bother to come and speak with me. Instead she stayed in the back office, hoping I would accept a 20% discount towards the purchase of a new pair of glasses (~ $40) and just leave. When she did come over to speak with me, she told me that she has already spoken to her supervisor and they were aligned in the fact that they would not replace eyeglasses that they broke (they should not have been altering them in the first place). Their defense for breaking my glasses: "Well they seemed old" "Well you were here for a new pair anyways" Their corporate office has not answered my calls. Their office was not willing to replace what was broken - did not even offer a replacement, so I wouldn't leave their office without glasses (how am i supposed to drive home?). If you decide to patronage them anyways, don't say i didn't warn you. Try giving their corporate office a call and see how that goes for you, just so you can get an idea of how your complaints will be completed ignored. March 4th Appointment, March 6th Not even a response from their company despite breaking my only pair of glasses... I've been to their office before, and probably would have kept going for the next 10+ years, i also have relatives that go there. I've bought glasses there before and would have likely bought another 4 pairs in that span of time. It's really unacceptable to treat clients so poorly while also destroying your company by not understanding the lifetime value of clients and basic customer service.
I have been going here for many years but had skipped quite a few years. However, the service is still excellent, and my doctor is still there. It was quite a pleasant experience from start to finish. everyone I encountered was courteous and professional. I would never go anywhere else.
Dr Mellom was great as always. Very informative with me about where I’m at. Then the young woman that handled my new lenses (at City Springs) was super attentive, knowledgeable, and efficient.
