I had a very disappointing experience at Vision Today. While the optometrist/ophthalmologist himself is wonderful, professional, and respectful, the front desk/billing staff member completely ruined my experience and lost them my business. I came in to pick up my son’s frames and asked if they could tighten my current pair of glasses, which I’ve worn for two years with zero visibility issues. After the front desk worker handed my glasses back, my right lens had a distinct abrasion on it that made my vision completely blurry. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the front office lady immediately became defensive and rude. Among the main issues: Unprofessional Conduct: Before taking my glasses back, she made sure to announce to the staff that I was the patient who had missed a previous appointment. Passive-Aggressive Remarks: When I tried to schedule a new appointment to fix my vision issue, she condescendingly told me I needed to "make sure to confirm and actually show up this time." Zero Accountability or Empathy: She claimed they didn’t do anything to the glasses, and then added that even if they did, there are "no returns or replacements"—even though I never asked for money back. A simple apology or a respectful tone would have gone a long way. Poor Customer Service: She was consistently cold and dismissive, ignoring my son when he tried to make friendly small talk with her. I walked in with clean, clear glasses and left with a damaged lens and a lecture. I ended up canceling my upcoming appointment altogether. The doctor may be great, but the hostile treatment from the front desk makes it impossible to recommend this office.
