I had such a wonderful experience at Total Vision Care! Dr. Addison is super knowledgeable, caring, and took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. I am glad that I came to see him when I did as he was able to address all the eye issues that I was having. The entire staff was friendly, and I felt extremely comfortable throughout my appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Addison to anyone looking for quality eye care!

I had a positive experience during my visit itself, but I want to share a concern about billing and transparency that other patients should be aware of. At the time of my appointment, I was provided with a detailed, line-by-line invoice showing insurance amounts applied and a final patient balance. I paid the full amount that day, and the invoice reflected a $0.00 balance, with no indication that the totals were estimates or subject to change. Several months later, I was informed that I owed an additional balance due to insurance processing. While I understand that insurance claims can sometimes be adjusted, my concern is how the charges were presented at the time of service. The documentation I received—and the way the charges were explained—gave the clear impression that the amount I paid was final. When I reached out to resolve this, my concerns about how the invoice was presented were not addressed, and I was instead referred back to general policy language. At one point, I received a text message from someone identifying themselves as the managing director stating, “this can not be a surprise to you if you have used insurance before,” which felt dismissive of the specific concern I was trying to raise. This was especially frustrating given the significant time gap between payment and follow-up, after I had already received documentation showing a $0 balance. Additionally, I had a contact lens exam where trial lenses were discussed, but they were never ordered and no one followed up. When I reached out, I was told they do not always order trials, and I had to specifically request that they be ordered, despite that service being included as part of the exam I paid for. I would encourage the office to improve how they communicate when charges are estimates versus finalized amounts, and to ensure follow-through on services discussed during visits, as both of these issues can create confusion and require patients to advocate for things that should be handled proactively.

First time patient and everything went smoothly. Booked a Thursday appt two days in advance (other places were weeks out). I went with Total Vision Eyecare because of the 100% positive reviews and it was worth trying out. Friendly doctors and staff, and very inviting lobby area.

Brand new patient here and will definitely continue my eye care needs at this establishment. Beautiful store, very clean. Greeted immediately when I walked in got checked in and that process was smooth. The lady (Yvette) who helped me helped me pick out my glasses was amazing and such a sweetheart, I hope to get her again for any future glasses, she knows her stuff! Dr. Addison was also amazing, he is fast but efficient and explained everything very well, I appreciate that very much! I definitely left feeling like I made the right decision to come here for my eye care needs. Thank you very much for such a wonderful experience! 🙂

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The staff are so incredibly kind. Dr. Addison is very thorough, answered all my questions, and is extremely knowledgeable. The office has very nice equipment. Also, there is really no wait time and the whole exam takes minimal time. This is the place to go!
