She made the entire process easy and made me feel comfortable right away. Dr. Nguyen was also wonderful—very kind, patient, and informative. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood my eye health and options without ever feeling rushed. The entire experience was professional, warm, and welcoming. I truly appreciate the level of care and customer service and would absolutely recommend this office to anyone looking for a great eye doctor and an amazing team!

I had an exceptional experience at Texas State Optical. Dr. Donaldson was superb. I’ve had terrible vision most of my life and was never able to comfortably wear glasses because they made me nauseous, and contacts never fit right and always hurt. . Every other eye doctor, I went to in the past was not able to fix my problem. That is until I went to Dr. Donaldson. He was able to diagnose the issue and prescribe glasses that don’t make me nauseous and contacts that fit comfortably. He took the time to explain everything and was extremely knowledgeable. Jessica was also awesome. She was super kind, helped me find options within my budget, and really took the time to make sure I loved what I picked out. She is also very knowledgeable about how glasses and contacts should properly fit and feel. I would definitely recommend asking for Jessica when buying your glasses and contacts because you can tell she genuinely cares and wants to make sure you get quality products at the best prices.

Today was my first visit to this location. The staff were amazing. They were kind, helpful and very friendly! I chatted with the doctor about sports - he was great! And Jessica helped me pick out my new glasses. She was so nice and awesome! All around great experience.
