I would not recommend this hospital, even to my worst enemy. From the moment I arrived, the level of care I received was extremely disappointing. I experienced poor treatment, a lack of respect, and significant communication issues throughout my visit. When I requested to speak with the charge nurse, no one came. My spouse also called the hospital and asked to speak with the charge nurse but was reportedly hung up on. Shortly afterward, the nurse entered my room and mentioned that my spouse had called, which only added to the frustration. I also contacted Patient Relations regarding my concerns. I was told I had called the wrong number and that someone would return my call. Unfortunately, I never received the promised follow-up. To make matters worse, the attending physician appeared more focused on the NBA playoffs than addressing my questions and concerns, leaving most of my care to the resident physician. While I appreciate the role residents play in patient care, I expected the attending physician to be engaged and available to discuss my condition. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the quality of care, the lack of professionalism, and the failure to follow up on my concerns. I hope the hospital takes patient feedback seriously and works to improve both communication and patient care.

Thank you for your service! Dr. Lee not only listened to my concerns, but she also exercised all areas in my blood work to make sure that my pain was not caused by any underlying conditions. Nurse Cynthia was such a pleasure to be around and distract me from my discomfort and stayed attentive to my pain management. The woman in triage, Lisa, Nurse Cynthia, along with another male staff member whose name I didn’t catch were not stingy with the blankets. Over all, the team did well by listening to me as a patient to resolve the reason behind my visit. Thank you so much and keep up the good work!

i thought sheppard pratt was bad but compared to this psych unit sheppard pratt is a luxury. don't come here willingly the worst psych ward ever there is no real help but meds, tv and uno. staff would talk about patients. one patient had lice staff would mockingly talk about him out loud in front of other patients that did not feel right. they would also talk about patients diagnoses. the psych techs were unprofessional and forget that these people are on the psych unit for a reason and aren't out on the street. some people should not be working in psych if you dont want to genuinely help people or at least be good at faking it

I want to say thank you to the entire staff on the day of 10/21/2025. I had my surgery there. We arrived at 5:50am and we were greeted. The waiting area was clean and smelled good. We were taken to the next part at 6:00am, everyone in that office was sweet. Taken upstairs to the fourth floor, more positivity and the lady at the desk was just a pleasure. Get to the back I had the time of my life, I’m mad I cannot remember her name but she made me feel so much better as I’ve never had no surgery ever in my life. Had me laughing. My doctor was Dr. Mark and when I tell you I am grateful and thankful for her expertise and caring and kindness. Any questions I had, she answered. She never made me feel like a burden. She reassured me everything would be ok and I’d be good to go in about two-three days. I was out….. woke up to the young lady and my daughter. I just wanted to say thank you to every single person on that day. God bless you all.

Everything was quick, friendly, and efficient. They got us in for our procedure ahead of schedule, and they finished faster than estimated.
