After waiting many months to get in to see the doctor I was on her waiting list and they called me. I was very excited to get in there because my problem had worsened. After I had traveled an hour and a half to get to their facility up on walking in I had to go straight to the restroom because of the problem I was having when I approached the desk to check in I gave them my information in which I was told that they did not accept my insurance. After I questioned why I was not aware of this before I traveled an hour and a half I was told that the person that sent the referral did not send the insurance card. My reply to this is why didn't you ask for one if you didn't receive one anywhere I've ever worked if we do not get an insurance card when we get a referral we call that office and ask them to faxed us a research insurance card and updated insurance card. Also was told that because it's open Insurance season they did not want to question the insurance because people change all the time. My response to this is when you call the patient and tell them that appointment has open for them to come to an early appointment at that time why didn't you ask me what insurance I was currently using and what insurance would you be billing that way I could have told you and you could have told me that you did not accept my insurance. In regards to blaming another office for your mistakes I do not command you at all if you don't get an insurance card then ask for, let the patient know you need to know their insurance in case it has changed there are lots of things you can do to help this problem it is your office and your responsibility my advice to the manager is to start training your staff appropriately so people don't go an hour and a half out of their way to get to an appointment and then not be seen. My response to the staff there you need training

Do not go here! They miscoded lab work and I just had to pay $314 because they are incompetent and don't know how to fix coding. I deleted my account and will find another doctor

I scheduled my appointment over a month ago with who I believed was an Endocrine Specialist. I scheduled the appointment because I had inconsistencies on a thyroid ultrasound. My appointment was scheduled for 8 a.m. I took off work, I arrive, I was checked in and when the doctor comes in she starts asking me about having ever seen a pcp before. I said I have a pcp and that I'm here to see an endo. She goes on to tell me that this is not the first time that this has happened but the endocrine specialists books 6 months out in advance. So now I have to wait 6 months to see the endocrine specialist when I should have been informed and properly scheduled over a month ago when I made the original appointment. Especially after expressly stating that I wanted to see an endocrine specialists and purposely calling the endocrine department to see said specialist. Get it together scheduling department. What a waste of my time.

I went here for years. Never really had an issue but twice. The first time, delivering my daughter, they treated me like a druggie bc one the actual dr delivering my baby that I had been under her care had prescribed me a narcotic but never told me the risks then got upset when my baby tested positive for narcotics (it was my migraine medication), not to mention they left me on pitocin for two days after I delivered her and a nurse figured it out after I kept asking for pain meds bc I was in so much pain and second when I had my iud changed, they ripped and yanked like they were trying to start a lawnmower. I passed out from the pain then the Dr asked very shitty “do you want me to stop or get this done”. It had grown into the back of my C-section scars inside and they were ripping them open from the inside but I was “overreacting”. I have extreme burning pain after a couple years and am scared to go anywhere now. Do not go to these people. Not Johnson city not Bristol, none of their offices. Be careful. I’m afraid I have some serious issues and need help.

This place doesn’t deserve a one but a zero!! Just because I don’t wanna get my daughter vaccinated I get a long rant from Dr.Mills how my child will die and this a bad decision I’m making. My baby has not once been sick.. I voice my concern she didn’t even come and check my baby while the other nurses told me keep my baby undress… she didn’t even touch my baby just was rude and wanted voice her opinion you should’ve just told me y’all won’t accept us no more and to have a good day!!! Don’t matter how long you been in this profession!! Baby not vaccinated baby not sick baby healthy !!! Vaccines don’t save babies hall get paid for us to bring sick babies!! Y’all always had me waiting for a long time in the doctor office anyways
