Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with a medical office. The front desk staff are consistently rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. I’m a patient preparing for a major, life-altering surgery — and instead of receiving compassion or support, I’ve been met with attitude and misinformation at every turn. Months ago, I asked for a second opinion because I have serious concerns about my upcoming surgery. I’ve called multiple times, followed every instruction they gave, and even contacted my healthcare provider as directed. Only recently did I find out that all this time, they hadn’t even submitted the authorization requests like they claimed they were doing. When they finally did send one, it was to a doctor within the same network as my current surgeon — which defeats the entire purpose of a second opinion. My provider confirmed this and told me to have the office resubmit it to Cedars with notes indicating it’s urgent. After calling again today, I was told (once more) that they “can’t help me,” and the only thing they can do is put in a callback request. So after months and months of being told they were “handling it,” I’ve been left with nothing but delays, frustration, and zero accountability — all while facing a surgery that could permanently affect my body and life. I genuinely fear for my health and well-being because it feels like no one here, including my orthopedic team, cares enough to help or even follow through. And if it’s not this issue, there’s always another one — usually involving my medications. This office has shown a shocking lack of professionalism, communication, and compassion toward patients in serious medical situations.

I initially was going to rate this place at least three stars because my first appointment there wasn’t too bad. Everyone was nice When I walked in. The waiting room and the Appointment rooms are nice and looked newer. But ever since I switched to this healthcare center in August, it’s been an uphill battle. I don’t actually have one primary care doctor. I’ve been juggled between several, so none of them know my history. Or me personally. I’ve only been able to do mostly virtual telephone calls which don’t get my urgent medical needs across. I have several very intense chronic conditions that I need care for and not one person or doctor seems to care about that. The last straw and my one star rating is for what just occurred. I scheduled a physical for November 13th back in September. Early September. They called me today, November 12th, To tell me that they don’t know why somebody scheduled that day for me. The doctor I’m supposed to see is not even in The office. But they can reschedule me for over a month away… my jaw dropped. I’m floored. I need urgent labs and medication, and because they messed up, my health is at risk? Completely unacceptable. Stay away from this place if you can.
I've been a patient at VCH for four years. The facility is clean, quiet, and efficient. I've never waited more than 15 minutes to see the doctor. Although appointments are booked a few months out, I have called for same day in-person or virtual appointments and was able to be seen. In fact, my PCP, Dr. H. Singh called me the day after the one time I wasn't able to get through on the same day. He is always patient, focused, and thoughtful during our visits which makes me feel comfortable about his advice. Also, when I needed help most on a timely issue, the Chief Administrator, Su Dion, and her staff went above an beyond. VCH North Hills provides awesome, caring services from the call center, the staff, administration, and doctors. They've made me feel supported and cared for when I felt the worst. I especially appreciate Dr. Singh.

6 months in the making. This is our new provider. September this year we made an appointment and the earliest is December 2024, we patiently waited until the day of appointment came however we were unable to answer their call before the appointment and when we arrived to community healthcare they regret to inform us that the doctor is SICK that's why they call us prior to our appointment and when we made another appointment they gave us end of February. First impressions Last. Thank you for your service thou. Thanks but no thanks.
