Vision Center of Delaware

I recently visited this clinic for a routine eye exam. The receptionist was wonderful, very kind and helpful from the moment I arrived. On the other hand, my interaction with the doctor was very different. I arrived a few minutes late due to confusion between their two nearby locations (one for glasses and one for exams). I understand being late can be inconvenient, but the doctor came across as unwelcoming. During the appointment I was told I’d need a separate visit for a dry eye evaluation, even though I had already noted this on my intake forms. I understand that different exams may require separate appointments, but when I asked if we could cancel the routine exam so I could find a clinic that accepts new patients for both services and avoid extra billing, the doctor became visibly frustrated and had an attitude. I respect clinic policies and the doctor’s time, but I think kind behavior and communication really matters. The experience left me feeling uncomfortable and drained; and therefore, I wouldn’t recommend this place for routine exams.

My children had appointments and Dr. Farrall was great with them. The appointments were on time and she provided great care and service. The lady who took us back was upbeat positive and courteous. She explained everything she needed us to do kindly

I have been a patient of Dr. Farrell for years now and she is a very thoughtful and knowledgeable doctor who has helped me through many difficult situations including cataracts, narrow angles and needing my cataract lens washed!! Her staff is always very supportive friendly and helpful and they are always willing to help with anything you need!

I have been going to see Dr. Amy M Farrall for many years now even before she was at her current practice. She is a very caring and compassionate doctor. I have never felt rushed and all my questions/concerns are always addressed. The staff at Vision Center of Delaware are always helpful and friendly with every visit. I would recommend her and have to anyone seeking vision care.

I absolutely love the Vision Center of Delaware, all its staff and Dr. Amy Farrell! I have been going to this Center for more than 15 years, and was very happy with every visit. Dr. Farrell was instrumental in making a diagnosis of a big problem with my vision and sending me to surgery specialist. She is always very attentive and very thorough in her examinations. In addition, Vision Center provides fantastic help with prescription glasses, making sure everything fits and adjusted as it should be. Thank you!
