Dr. Mead is all business, and very personable. He is proud of his craft, enjoys doing it, and understand how to communicate effectively. A rare individual in this day and age. The clinic is exceptionally clean. The business is fast to see the doctor. And the staff is friendly.
Dr. Mead is the BEST. I've been going to him for many years and have followed him through several locations. He's not even in-network for my vision plan but I continue to obtain care from him because he is knowledgeable, really takes his time with me in each visit (I never feel rushed), and he evaluates even the most minor concerns I bring up. One year, I went to someone in-network and the care I received wasn't even remotely close to what Dr. Mead offers. Dr. Mead is worth the extra cost. I'll continue to seek care from him and recommend him to others as long as he remains in practice.
Great Dr! I have been coming with Dr. Mead for over 10 years now. Before coming to his office I had never worn glasses, so he eased me into my prescription. Throughout the years I've moved a lot further away from his office and for ease of location I would go with other Dr's; however, their prescription has always been off so I've made the decision to stick with him and I've never been disatisfied with my prescription or the level of service that I've received from his office staff. One of the things that I can really appreciate is that he's not directly tied with selling prescription glasses and his office is a separate location from where you could buy glasses. I usually get my glasses from Costco, so I don't feel the need of being pressurized to buy glasses from wherever I have gotten my eyes checked. Anyways, I appreciate all your great work Dr. Mead! Will definitely be bringing my children with you as well.
Dr. Mead took great care of me on my recent visit. He was very thorough in his exam. Due to my age, we had a detailed discussion about Posterior Vitreous Detachment (PVD) and things for me to be aware of that I might be experiencing. Dr. Mead and the staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. The appointment time was punctual and very little waiting time between different phases of the eye exam.
I went a few years ago and just went again today. The new office is very nice! I like coming here because they do accept walk ins and normally always have a same day appointment. Dr. Mead is great and will definitely keep coming back. Super convenient to the Stone Oak area located by Walmart (281/1604)
