Visionworks

I've been going to Visionworks for the past 3+ years since moving to Tempe. Have always had a good experience. The past two times especially I've been having medical issues impacting my vision, and although it seemed minor outside of the routine exam, the staff have always listened & treated me with compassion and didn't dismiss when asking about BVD or things outside the typical check. Even when it was busy, Dr. Dickert and staff such as Jalynn were super kind. I get extremely anxious when I struggle with indecision sometimes, but both ladies helped me choose a pair of contacts and other staff helped with lenses. Really appreciated the patience and helping make it a stress-free process. Overall great team & meant alot that they went the extra effort of what could otherwise be a simple routine check.

Not to be rude but the team at this location is so unorganized. If they were running 25 minutes behind on appointments they should be notifying their clients. I delayed my flight so that I could be on time for my appointment I would have appreciated if my time was also respected because waiting in the waiting room for 25 minutes is not cool. Also every time I come to an appointment they always have it in wrong and I have to explain every time on why I am there, I thought they would have notes!

STAY AWAY!!! Receptionist - Deon was very combative, did not want to resolve an issue I had with my provider. Refused to talk to said provider, I called, to verify my plan was good for use. Tried to get rid of me anyway she could. Go to a different Visionworks, this is probably the worst location so far. Update - James at the Dobson and Baseline location was able to get me in and out. Only reason it took more than 5 minutes was due to finding out if I had a copay, etc.

Great service very friendly, still took me in after I was late for 15 minutes. I brought in my 3 kids because I didn’t have a babysitter they welcome them with a smile. The appointment itself was smoothly it was done in a timely manner highly recommend this place.

I’ve always liked Vision Works. Given their good coupons they always have the best prices and they have a large selection of frames to choose from. I do wish they had more petite size frames though. I was pretty limited as to what was a good fit for my face.
