I had a positive experience with the doctor and initially selecting my glasses, but unfortunately, the experience afterward was very disappointing. I went in on July 22 for my exam and purchased glasses. After three weeks without hearing anything, I called the store for an update. I was initially told the lab would be contacted, but the next day I was told my glasses had been broken by the lab. When I questioned this, the explanation changed to the frames being on back order. I then went into the store and was told there was simply a shipping delay. That’s three different explanations from two employees. I later called the Fontana location and was told my frames had been sent to the lab on August 5. I completely understand that delays and unexpected issues happen, but the lack of communication and transparency is what upset me. A simple call explaining the situation would have allowed me to choose different frames if necessary. I immediately canceled my order. Please do better when it comes to communicating with customers and being honest about the status of their orders. The conflicting information was completely unnecessary.
