I had gotten my glasses here for over 10 years and never had any issues. My last pair I was having a lot of issues adjusting to. They were very uncomfortable and I couldn’t see well. I also ordered some sunglasses that had the entirely wrong RX in them and I couldn’t see a darn thing. They ended up taking the sunglasses back during the 100 day guarantee, but when I was constantly going in regarding my regular glasses they were incredibly rude and made it feel like my fault. They refused to take the glasses back. I scheduled a re-exam and when I got there the manager refused to let me see the doctor because I “scheduled wrong”. She ended up adjusting my glasses again and I left in tears. Fast forward a year later and I went to a new eye doctor, turns out my prescription in one of my eyes (that I’ve been having issues with for over a year) was too strong. I am very disappointed considering how much money I’ve given this location. I trusted them with something as precious as my eyesight and they failed me.

I hadn't had vision insurance for awhile so I would go to America's Best because they are cheaper. Well I have vision insurance now so I was super excited to go to Visionworks! I went and got my exam and had issues with ordering my glasses at first but I can't remember specifics right now. Anyhow, I ended up back there to order my glasses. The young male that helped me stated he was kind of new and was very friendly and helpful. I have no complaints about his customer service. I had previously gotten quotes from a young lady who worked there who was also very friendly, helpful, and informative. I picked out my frames and lenses. Since insurance was covering a portion, I decided to pay more and buy myself the nicest set of frames I've gotten in over 10 years. I spent a pretty penny on them. I've had issues adjusting to getting used to the lenses because this is the first time I had bifocals and they told me "it takes time". Fast fwd about a month and I start to see scratches on my lenses even though I have been very careful with them since they were so dang expensive and even paid extra for the non-scratch coat. Into the 2nd mo, more scratches. So I call about their 100 day policy and am told that since I didn't pay for insurance/warranty there's nothing they can do. I tell them I've purchased cheaper glasses from America's Best and never had this issue until around the 1 yr mark and ask if they're sure that non-scratch coat was added to my lenses and they said it was. I tell them I don't understand how they would get scratched so easily, I even purchased special non-abrasive cleaning cloths and spray that is deemed to not be harsh on lenses. The person said "sorry, you can bring in the cloth and solution so we can look at them." I tell them I wouldn't have said "no" to insurance/warranty" for my new glasses since they were so expensive unless it was very expensive. I asked how much it would have been and I'm not exactly sure but I was quoted around $35-40. There is NO WAY I would've said "no" to that small of an amount for glasses I spent $200+ on AFTER insurance! I honestly don't believe I was offered the insurance/warranty! Now I'm 9 mos in and I wake up and the arm of my glasses fell off the hinge. I call to see if there's anything that can be done and basically am told no because again, I didn't purchase the warranty. I've had old, cheap pairs of glasses from America's Best last wayyyyy longer, no scratches and no arms ever falling off. This is ridiculous! I'm waiting for a call back from a Manager to see if there's anything they can do about my glasses. I need them to see, for work, driving, everything. Oh and I'm still "adjusting" to the vision out of my new lenses. The gal on the phone today was nice also. She did mention that had I gone or called in before the 100 days they could've possibly swapped out lenses or frames or both. I told her that I did call before the 100 days and was told that it didn't apply to me because I didn't pay for the warranty! SO disappointing! All the information I've been given is contradicting. Now I'm stuck with a nice pair of frames that now feel cheaper and cheaper to me as the time passes. Makes me wish I had just stuck with America's Best, which BTW if you take your glasses in before the 1 yr mark they will give you a new pair no questions asked (pretty much). And that's without paying extra for a warranty last time I checked. I now have tape on the arm of my expensive glasses smh. I'm leaving the state in 2 weeks to attend a conference for work and don't want to be walking around with tape on my glasses. Will update review once I get a response. My insurance just got renewed and this will determine if I visit again or if I go back to trusty America's Best.
This is a great place for eye exams. It's easy to get an appointment and the staff is really friendly and "knows their stuff". I live 50 miles away but it was worth the drive to go to this location. Big shout out to Dawn, the manager who waited on me. She was really helpful.
Visionworks made my transition to glasses easy and comfortable. I appreciate the Doctor and staff for their patience interest and overall help. I had a great experience at Vision works.
I am very disappointed in VisionWorks at the Greeley Mall. I paid over $600 for my pair of glasses. They told me it would take less than two weeks to have the glasses ready. After two and a half weeks they finally told me my glasses were ready for pickup. When I showed up to get them, they were the wrong frames. Not even close. So I asked them if they could expedite the correct frames and the lady in charge said very rudely, “No, there’s nothing we can do.” She was extremely unprofessional and I found it very disappointing and disrespectful. I’m now looking at a total of one month minimum for one pair of glasses that was supposed to take less than two weeks. And they refuse to give any kind of discount. I will never go to this establishment again and would strongly recommend the same for anyone else.
