I was told a 1 week wait for my new glasses. 2 weeks max. Its been over three weeks. I kept being told 3-5 more days for a week straight. Then I was told someone would call me with an update and an explanation for delay. Didnt get that. When I called again I was told it would be another week until I get them. She hung up before I can even ask more questions. No “have a good day.” No “would that be all for you?” Just click. It gets to a point

We are arriving at a new normal for goods and services. AI can be a bit too much at times for Seniors. If you want excellent personal customer support this is your place. Im a Senior and was made to feel special even though my thought process is slowing down. This location is my jam.Ive kept coming back for over 20years. Many thanks. Specialist lead Junie Maeva was stellar.I really can be challenging. Lol . Please please reward her if your system allows. Wilhelmina Rochester
Customer service at this location was not good. When I selected contacts this past September, I felt rushed by the man at the front desk and almost like an inconvenience when selecting glasses. He forgot to take one of my measurements and gave me the wrong prescription, so I had to return twice to get the glasses adjusted. I’ve tried calling multiple times later on to order additional contacts. The first time, the woman who responded told me that they were too busy and would call me back later that day to answer all of my questions (I only had two questions). The next few times, I was routed through the corporate AI calling system and after waiting for a while on hold, was unable to reach anyone. I’m now looking for a new eye doctor / contact lens provider and would recommend the same to others. Pretty consistently disappointed with my experience here. I did give one additional star because Dr. Sivaguru was great. But the front desk and customer service staff make this a difficult place to receive care and services.
I wanted to take a moment to share my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service I received at your G Street location during my visit yesterday. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted and immediately checked in. Abena, staff member at the front desk was friendly, efficient, and thorough — she explained my waiver clearly, guided me through the paperwork, and handled the preliminary testing with professionalism and care. The entire process felt seamless and welcoming. After only a very short wait, I was called back by Dr. Isayas Tekie. He was exceptional — professional, kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating. He took the time to explain my options, answered all of my questions thoughtfully, and made me feel completely comfortable trying progressive contact lenses, something I had previously been hesitant to consider. His patience and expertise truly made a difference and gave me the confidence to try something new. I have been coming to this location for at least five years (likely longer), and I can honestly say this was the best experience I have ever had. My appointment was at 3:00 PM and I was walking out the door by 3:30 PM. That level of efficiency, without ever feeling rushed, is impressive. Please extend my gratitude to Dr. Tekie and Abena for their professionalism, kindness, and excellent care. Experiences like this are exactly why I continue to choose Visionworks. Sincerely, P. Lloyd
I made an appointment online for an in-person visit weeks in advance. The day of the appointment, I got a call saying it was a telehealth appointment where I would be in the office but the doctor would be remote. How does that even work? Certainly not what I wanted for an in-person appointment. And to top it off, the telehealth platform wasn't working so I had to reschedule my appointment with an hour's notice. And, the doctor is quitting next week. Recommend passing on this location and picking another practice.
