⭐️ to Dr. Aker the optometrist was super knowledgeable and friendly and took time to educate and explain. ⭐️ The technician was also very friendly during the initial intake exam. ⭐️ The two lovely ladies at the front were very pleasant. I was greeted immediately upon entering and given plenty of time to browse before and after the exam portion of my appointment. ⭐️ Valerie, who assisted me after selecting was AWESOME in breaking down the cost and is the reason I decided to get two pairs⭐️ Last star goes to the selection of glasses! So many great styles I had trouble choosing!

I went for an eye/contact exam, while during the exam and I had to read the letters back to the doctor, the equipment lens continued to fog up. Due the that issue I was not able to give an accurate response of what I was seeing. The doctor and I managed to get through the exam, she sent me home with a trail pair of contacts. The contacts instantly felt like I had on bifocals and everything I was seeing was in 3d. I continued to wear them for a week to trust the professional judgment of the doctor. I returned after 10 days to complete my follow up, I informed the doctor what I was experiencing. She did the follow up exam with me wearing the same lens that I complained about the prescription being too strong, she switched out one contact lens at the end but she did not communicate the results. She did not say hey I’m changing the contacts maybe the contacts were a bad fit or I’m changing the prescription. She sent me back out with the primary len in one eye that’s way too strong and I replacement that I don’t know the real reason why she changed it. ****** Do not bring your kids here, kids can’t speak or advocate as adults. When you have doctors to disrespect you as an adult that is a paying customer, it’s important to leave reviews to warn others. I would have emailed this response to the manager Danny Garland but they don’t have an email for their customers to use, therefore this was the first step to resolve this matter.
> The customer service was spectacular. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly and made to feel welcome throughout every step of my exam. Everything was explained clearly from beginning to end, which helped me feel comfortable and at ease. > > The young lady who helped me choose my glasses was very detailed, knowledgeable, and helpful. Interestingly, the frame I selected was the same one she was wearing, which gave me confidence in my choice. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this office to others.
Visionworks at Camp Creek in East Point is probably the worst experience I ran into since moving to GA the last 3 years. The staffs there are a complete joke, all of them were behaving unprofessionally the entire time I were there. Loud chatting, laughing in front of clients, some dressed inappropriately, imo, as CS/front desk staff. I had fixed and confirmed appointment time, yet I had to wait for 57 minutes before getting checked and prepped by a technician. Another 20 minutes wait before being seen by the optometrist. Back to front desk for ordering the glasses. Another 30 minutes as the staff seemed to struggle to put in my order but finally went through. I purchased a frame and lenses from the shop, and ordered lenses on another frame I brought in. Paid in full for 2 pairs of glasses. After over 2.5 hrs, I was able to get back to work, 1.5 hours later than expected for a visit that should not be more than an hour long. Around 2 weeks later, I got a text saying my glasses are ready for pick up. I came back, staff struggled to find my records and order. Apparently, some other staffs keyed my DOB incorrectly. Only 1 pair of glasses were ready. And nobody had an idea where my other frame is. They promised to check and let me know. The day after, I got a message saying they found my frame, but won’t be able to put the lenses on, and they are going to return it to me. No reason of why they couldn’t do nor care to inform me after 20 days keeping my frame. Up to today 4/11/25, exactly 29 days from my visit and order date, I still have not received my frame back, and of course, there have not a refund for the incomplete order either. The Optometrist was ok as she did her job: vision exam. Visonworks at Camp Creek just lost 4 clients from my family, they probably don’t care. And I thanks God that there are many other optic shops to go to.
My name Artis and I'm deaf. The staff at Visionworks are awesome. Customer service was very good and helpful. They were very patient with me. They were communicating with me through texting message. Their attitude was so friendly. I would recommend people to visit Visionworks. Appreciate y'all for real.
