I rarely write reviews but I truly wanted to share how phenomenal of an experience I had today. I had gone to the VisionWorks in Edgewood previously and informed them twice that I was experiencing irritation and issues with my contacts. I shared that I wanted to return to an old brand that I used where I didn’t experience irritation and instead of receiving the support I needed to transition to my brand preference I was told to pay out of pocket for a whole new eye exam to get that prescription or wait 4 months for my annual to renew. They also couldn’t even give me 1 free trial of the contacts that I needed to temporarily hold me over. So finally after months of irritation in my contacts and difficulty seeing I couldn’t take it anymore and so I decided to try again and call Visionworks in Dunwoody instead. From before arriving, I was met with above and beyond customer service! Not only did they FREELY give me multiples trials in the new brand I desired and apologized for all of the stress, they listened to my concerns and educated me on the brands and my prescription. Janay Joyner, the general manager of this practice, has learned the art of service and because of her VisionWorks hasn’t lost a customer. I watched her not only care for me but multiple others and it’s evident that she cares more about our eye health and equipping us with tools and information then just making money. In such a broken healthcare system and this economy, this matters and as a practitioner myself these are the things I notice and value. Highly recommend you all going to the Dunwoody location for all of your eye care needs!

The staff at this location is so amazing! Everyone really made sure to take the time to go over all of my concerns and made this process so easy. From making sure I was comfortable during the beginning tests (blowing air in our eye is never easy lol), from reviewing all options on getting new glasses, I truly enjoyed my experience.

I would not recommend Visionworks based on my experience. I have now had to return twice because my prescription glasses were not correct. During my first visit, I explained that my right lens was still blurry, but my left eye was seeing perfectly fine. I specifically asked that nothing be changed with the left lens. Although I was later told that the prescription for my left eye had not changed on paper, something is clearly wrong because I can no longer see clearly through the left lens either. After receiving my updated glasses, my vision is now blurry in both eyes. The only area where I can see clearly is a very small spot at the very bottom of the lenses, which makes the glasses virtually unusable. This has caused significant frustration and inconvenience, especially after making multiple trips to have the issue addressed. What was equally disappointing was the level of professionalism I experienced during my second visit. While discussing my concerns, I noticed the doctor make what appeared to be an impatient and dismissive expression. As a customer seeking help with a problem that was not resolved the first time, I expected more patience, understanding, and a genuine effort to ensure my glasses were correct. For something as important as your vision, accuracy and customer care matter. Unfortunately, my experience fell short on both. I am now left questioning the quality control of the lenses, the accuracy of the prescription, and the overall commitment to customer satisfaction. Based on my experience, I would not return and would not recommend Visionworks to others.

I had such a great experience thanks to Chris. He helped me select the perfect pair of glasses and provided excellent customer service. He was very knowledgeable about the add-ons for the lenses. I will be back!

Super convenient Saturday morning appointment time for my eye exam with the Doctor. I had an 8:30am appointment time and arrived 15 minutes early. Was out the door after my exam and having chosen a pair of glasses within 45 minutes. I really appreciated the efficiency, and my glasses arrived within a week, and pick up was also fast and easy this morning. Thank you!
