Dr Sameena Mashhood is very good and very friendly and knowledgeable. Great with kids and will answer all questions. After your exam you don’t have to choose the extra recommendations ask what is optional and go with what’s affordable and covered by your insurance
6/2025 5* Ultimately we did not buy from here because they did not have the toddler glasses we were looking for. However, the staff was still super friendly and very helpful. We will be back for our other glasses needs. I highly recommend them.
A real life Myopia tragedy story you can avoid. Read this. I have two kids. I used to get the glasses from Vision Works. Years passed, we always got new glasses with more powerful lenses. But never once they informed about the root cause. They never ever spoke about any sort of treatment. Eye sight became worse. I went to Palermo in Arlington Heights for a second opinion. Thanks be to God, they found the root cause - Myopia. That changed everything. They gave us a treatment plan. But we thought to go to Foresight Vision in Long Grove because we heard that it's even better. We started the treatment now. The Doctor at Foresight Vision said that we could have certainly avoided all these worsening if we treated the eye years ago. Poor kids. Vision Works causes all the damage to their eyes because if they irresponsible. I will even call this a malpractice - it's like preventing the right solution for the sake of money. Vision Works is responsible for my two kids worsening of eye sight. Can they replace the eye sight of there poor kids? Don't they have kids too? Why would they do this to even children? You can imagine why Vision Works never told us, because they just don't care. They will sell you good glasses with amazing looks and offers. They will also be friendly. But they won't help you find the root cause. They could have just said one word about the possibility of a treatment. They didn't. I won't wish this to happen to anyone else. Please do not go here. Please go to a real eye Doctor. May God help you.
Everyone there took such great care of me and my needs. To the women at the front desk Caroline and Mia all the way to Dr. Avery who made sure all my optical needs were met. They all made me very comfortable and I am so happy I finally found an optical place for my glasses and contacts. Thanks to everyone there for a great experience!
My daughter and I both go to Visionworks. The employees are always patient when helping me pick out frames. Dr. David gave me a thorough exam, was not rushed and I felt he cared about helping me. I will definitely go back to Visionworks and ask for Dr. David!
