I use Empire Visionworks because they take my insurance, but not because I think they’re particularly great. I would say they are middle of the road. A few positives - the staff genuine tries to be helpful and their pricing is very reasonable especially when they run specials a couple of times each year. Negatives are that it’s always a long wait, even with an appointment. One time I got a text confirming my appointment but when I came in the manager explained that since my appointment was made about a year in advance - it was just a placeholder, not a “real appointment”. I asked why I got a text confirming my “phantom appointment”…without a good answer. They did squeeze me in, it it ended up being a very long wait. I don’t care for that. They stay busy and the effort is good, but I feel like they’re always either overwhelmed or on the verge of being overwhelmed. Having said all of that - I’ll be back…unless they stop taking my insurance. Then all bets are off.

All staff were friendly and helpful. When one person who was helping me find frames was called away to help with another customer, another stepped in to assist me. Despite there being several other customers in and out while I was there, my wait time was very reasonable. I was able to check in (new customer), look at frames, and get measured for lenses in just under an hour.

The service was fast and the doctor took the time with me. Didn’t feel rushed at all. The associates were very friendly and checked both my insurance and my husband’s to find the cheapest option. The selection to pick from glasses were perfect. Highly recommend to people!!

My experience at Empire Vision Works was a good friendly experience from all the staff and including the eye doctor. Everyone was in good spirits and made my appointment go stressless. Thumbs up the the staff there much appreciated for there work!

I can't really a test to anything , except they are impossible to reach. Nobody to take calls. My 85 yr old mom calls me hysterical, because she can navigate the system, only for me to discover that it's nearly impossible for most people. Customer service is a thing if the past !
