I have been going to Vision Works in Slingerlands Price chopper area for years and I’m very grateful to them. They do a wonderful job. I hope they stay open and in that area it’s so convenient for me. If I ever have any problems at all, they are there to help me. I don’t particularly like the online appointment setting, but when I did make a phone call and got a person to speak to. They were very helpful. The new way called. I believe Vision links was outstanding. The technological advances are in incredible. The doctor, even though he was virtual was very good and very informative.

Staff is friendly, I was in and out within an hour including exam with a virtual Dr. That process was new to me but still felt it went well. Prices are more than reasonable and they have a nice selection of frames. Very pleased with my visit and purchase.

I couldn't get in to see my regular so I went to Visionworks. Big mistake! You are not treated by a person. You speak to a computer. It did not get my left eye correct or my reading prescription. I complained to the person in the room with me and she said that the doctor will come on and straighten it out. That didn't happen. After a while, I walked out. I do feel for the people working there. They do their best but they are in a bad situation. I will never go there again.

I came for my yearly exam a few months ago, and received my glasses and contact prescription. The person finishing my exam didn’t give me a trial pair and once I ordered the year supply I found that the prescription didn’t work for my eyes. I called the store multiples time and got bounced to the corporate help line, who never got back to me. When I finally got back to the store for the recheck, I was there for over an hour, just to not even see the doctor I was told I would see! While waiting the half hour in the exam room, I was getting blasted by a heater and obnoxious vision works ads. I’ve had to waste a lot of my time and money because they messed up my first exam, so this was just the cherry on top. The technicians and people at the store are lovely and great! However, the companies decision to use automated AI vision exams and telehealth doctors completely ruins the experience and quality of the service provided.

This company made me wait 2 weeks for my new glasses only to get a call apologizing that their lab informed them that they no longer can make progressive lenses for my frame. After looking into other companies, their labs can make progressive lenses to fit my frame which tells me VisionWorks lab has inexperience employees not trained well in that field. Next time I’ll go with another company..
