Had a bad experience here recently, Came in the past to get an eye exam and new glasses and it was great before but I think it was mostly the staff... Now it has different staff and a different front desk receptionist who's customer service skills are terrible. Came in and asked for my previous prescription which expired last year...the website says that I am able to have the location print out expired prescriptions as long as I have had a service (purchase glasses, exam, contacts etc) within the last 3 years. The new lady at the front is some older woman with cheese curls for hair and wears glasses if you're wondering.🚩 Honestly was very rude when I asked for a print out of my prescription , could not give me an answer except...."It's expired" ... Well obviously it's expired, Had visionworks customer service call to confirm the policy on the website and she pretended to be the office manager. Danielle I think he said her name was. ⚠️🚩 She even lied to my face and said "The policy changed and that we can't print out expired exams" 🤣🤣🤣💀💀💀 Just to force me to get another exam just to update my prescription.... And the next exam was a month out. ⭐️ Went to the visionworks on Columbus ave they printed it out no issue and gave me the disclaimer "Can't issue new glasses with this prescription but we can definitely print out your expired one" spoke to me about wanting to schedule a new exam and booked it for the next day... All this happened within an hour ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️I recommend anyone that uses Visionworks to visit any other location or go to The Columbus blvd location.
Really frustrating experience here. My appointment was originally at 10:35 AM, and I confirmed it by text days before. I replied “Y” and got a confirmation back. They also called me the day before, and even though I missed the call, I called back and confirmed again through their automated system. I attached photos for proof. When I got there, the front desk receptionist told me they called and I didn’t pick up, so my appointment wasn’t confirmed. I told her I did call back and confirm, but was brushed off because apparently it wasn’t showing up on their end. That really rubbed me the wrong way because I don’t like being made to feel like I did something wrong when I know I didn’t. I have screenshots showing that I confirmed, which I’m attaching. I also don’t understand why I needed to confirm my appointment twice in two different ways?! (By text and phone call) She rescheduled me for 11:00, so I was fine with waiting another 25 minutes. But that turned into about an hour, and I eventually canceled and left. At that point, I’d already been inconvenienced and had enough of my time wasted over something that wasn’t my fault. I’ve confirmed appointments through automated systems with other healthcare providers plenty of times and never had this happen. If there’s an issue with their system, that shouldn’t fall on the patient, and the person at the front desk shouldn’t make patients feel like it’s their fault either. I’m not giving my money to a company that doesn’t value its customers’ time or blames customers for things that aren’t their fault. I’ll be going somewhere else for my eye care
The dr was great took his time to explain my eye sight and how eyes work made sure my prescription was correct so i could see as best as possible. The lady working the machine was very nice and made sure i was comfortable with all the machines and what they do and the lady that checked me out explained all the pricing and different add ons that were available to me and would work with my prescription. Overall i had a great experience great people and comfortable and professional vibes throughout the office. Will definitely be returning.
My wife booked us both appointments stacked next to each other. We arrive on this rainy Wednesday, taking off work to make this appointment and they say that they have cancelled my appointment because I don’t confirm it. Woman was smirking, no resolution but to reschedule for another time. Last year the wait was so long when we were there we witnessed two families walk out. Very bad service would strongly advise finding another place.
