The entire staff was very welcoming and pleasant from the moment I walked through the door. My eye exam was very thorough. The doctor discussed the results of my test, the changes in my vision, and recommendations. The staff assisted me with selecting eyeglass frames to complement my face. It was indeed a pleasure to meet an awesome team of professionals.

Excellent service every time we go. From the Doctor to the associates, they are all very helpful, understanding and make your time visiting the eye doctor worth while. We originally went in for an eye glass repair that could have taken days that took minutes. I was also able to schedule a same day appointment getting to see the doctor immediately. The staff at the Castleton location always go above and beyond for my family without hesitation. We appreciate the staff making our experience a pleasant one …..ALWAYS!
Second bad experience here and now I am done. Came in yesterday to get new contacts as mine had run out. They made me do a new exam, which is fine. I get it. I called ahead to confirm my insurance would work and they said yes. When it came to check-out time I got hit with charges that I hadn't been hit with there before AND they were trying to bill my wife's insurance instead of mine (Hers shouldn't even be active, that's an entirely different issue in and of itself.) The associate who was doing my checkout was clearly confused about what to do and even at one point asked someone behind her what option she should choose for something. I ended up paying almost $100 and didn't even get contacts. I didn't want to give them that business. Immediately after leaving, I called my insurance provider and they informed me my insurance doesn't work at Visionworks. Had I gone to somewhere it does work, I would have come less out of pocket, but they just refused to tell me my insurance was no good there. I will now be going to an in-network provider and doing an entirely new exam and giving them the business of ordering my contacts. The doctor I had yesterday at Visionworks was also less than pleasant. She acted like a very minimal change in my prescription was the end of the world and said "she wanted to investigate" and more or less put fear in my head to get me to pay the $20 for photos of my eyes which were absolute horrible quality. Her review of the photos lasted less than 10 seconds. This place is an absolute JOKE! DO NOT go here. Previous review: Had a weird, uncomfortable experience today. Called in because my lenses are way too scratched for how careful and protective I am with them. The sales rep who answered told me they’d replace them. When I got in the general manager kind of shut that down until the sales associate kind of overheard the conversation. She was extremely rude about it. When the sales rep overheard she came over and vouched for me, general manager took her into a room and I’m pretty sure got extremely angry with her. So, thank you vision works for replacing my lenses even though it sounds like you didn’t want to. Just hope the sales rep is OKAY! She just wanted to take care of a customer is what it sounded like - we buy glasses and contacts at this location. I don’t even think the general manager is an overtly rude person I just think the situation could have been handled a lot better. No call needed, we will still come in in the future.
Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I went for an exam per a referral from my neurologist due to issues going on. I finished my exam, paid them and my vsp to upgrade for more coverage towards what I needed. I was told I can use my own frames and was asked to sign a form that takes away their respective if something should happen. I signed it but asked if they've had issues with the lab and she stated, things happen. I sat in silence with my daughter and then a minute later she said, I just have to let you know just in case and so I asked again, have you had issues because you continue to place emphasis on this. She said well you don't have to leave your glasses here and I've even seen them get lost. I said , well I use these daily so I'm leaving them. I then call the next day to see if they saw my updated plan and processed my glasses and she said we are going to refuse to use your frames and allow you to use any glasses here at all. I felt so disrespected and mistreated as a customer. This location was in the castleton square mall. They refused to refund me even thought for no reason at all the disrespectful manager refuses to allow me to use my frames out of my concern for what she is saying to me.
The ladies at the castleton mall location were great. They helped me, my husband and my daughter with eye wear. Q is amazing and i am forgetting the name of other two ladies. They were so easy going, helpful, cheerful, and helped us with all our insurance related things and selection of eye wear. Love them. I may just stop by at vision works to say hi to them if i am in the mall. They were so great.
