I knew I had an eye infection. My eye doctor that I see In a different practice couldn’t see me. I had been to Visionworks in the past. Even though it had been a while, they got me in for a same-day appointment. I didn’t have to wait long after arrival. The eye doctor that saw me was Dr. Case. He was extremely nice, thorough, and knowledgeable. I really appreciated being able to be seen and not having to go to urgent care. Thank you so much!

Very friendly staff. Deal on frames. Tests were quick before seeing the dr, I love the air puff machine to check the eye health instead of the drops. The eye Dr was thorough and quick. I ordered contacts they are sending them to my house, nice convenience.
Although it was busy, everyone was nice accept one worker with the purple hair. She rarely wanted to attend to my kids needs when asked if she could adjust their glasses. She basically handed us our glasses and went to the next person and never asked if she could adjust. I had to literally wait and ask her to do her to do it. She gave off as if she didn’t want to.
We went there recently for a eye exam for my husband, and with the hopes of getting him some glasses. The wait Was almost 3 hours, which was ridiculous to begin with however, after getting the eye exam, we proceeded to get glasses. They set us up with the buy one get one pair of lesser value free. The cost of the glasses was over $1000. I’m not really sure what was free about it . When they attempted to run our credit card, they charged our card and then put the money back and charging our card again for up to 8 times . At that nothing was being resolved, so we just decided to take our business elsewhere. The clerk Amanda assured is that nothing would be charged. In fact she said in all her 24 years that she had never seen anything charged. She was obviously wrong and our account was charged. We received no glasses . We tried for up to almost 15 days to get this issue resolved, and we would call there and they would all continue to lie to us saying there was no manager on duty and then one of us would call back and a manager suddenly appeared there . We asked to speak to the district manager and they said they couldn’t pass out his phone number so I asked to have him call me We have not received a call to this day. It is appalling to me that businesses can treat their customers this way. I will never enter that store again and I will tell anyone and everyone that the service that they would receive is so poor that it’s not even worth the waste of time to go there. We used to get glasses there all the time and they had a competent staff before, but I’m not sure what they’ve done now.. We even went so far as to call corporate and corporate blamed the actual store and the actual store blamed corporate. The thing that bothers me the most is that not one time did anyone apologize to us for the type of treatment that we received and what was happening? I’m not sure that everyone would like to see $1000 be taking out of your checking account and have nothing to show for it. Finally, after going to the bank where I filed fraud charges on the charge, the issue was resolved, but with no help from Vision works. My best advice to offer is to never go to that place. They don’t know what they’re doing and they just want your money.
I was able to walk in and get my eye exam completed, which I appreciated. However, my overall experience left a lot to be desired. The doctor seemed extremely rushed, spoke very fast, and was difficult to understand during the exam. While waiting to pick out my glasses, the staff at the front desk appeared more focused on personal conversations about Starbucks than assisting customers. I ultimately got what I needed, but the customer service and professionalism were not what I expected. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.
