It is always a pleasure to go in for my eye-exam with Dr. Shields. His patience, dedication, knowledge, personality and overall bedside-manner are everything I look for in a doctor. His staff are among the most-friendly, personable, knowledgeable professionals you’d want working alongside you. I have always been treated with the utmost courtesy and respect when I’m the office. I actually look forward to my appointments. If you’re looking for a great optometrist, I would recommend anybody-and-everybody to give Dr. Shields a try. I have been going to this office for over 8 years and I can honestly say the care has always been exceptional. The doctor is knowledgeable, patient, and truly takes the time to make you feel comfortable and cared for. What really stands out is the staff — they are always kind, welcoming, and somehow remember me every single time I come in. It makes such a difference walking into an office where everyone treats you like family instead of just another appointment. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for an eye doctor who genuinely cares about their patients.

Dr. Shields is amazing! Very professional, friendly and loves what he does. The rest of the staff is as great — very nice and accommodating! You feel very comfortable all the time during your visit.
