I had a great experience at the Walmart Vision Center thanks to Ivania Escobar, the optician who helped me during my visit. From the moment I arrived, Ivania was friendly, patient, and genuinely focused on making sure I had a good experience. Ivania took the time to explain my options clearly, helped me find frames that fit well and looked good, and made sure everything was comfortable before I left. I never felt rushed, and Ivania answered all of my questions with professionalism and kindness. Customer service like this really stands out. It’s clear Ivania cares about helping people. I truly appreciate the time and attention Ivania gave me, and I would definitely recommend this Vision Center to anyone looking for helpful and knowledgeable service.

Dhaval is so knowledgeable and kind! I stopped in 15 minutes before closing for an issue with my frameless glasses and lenses, and he knew exactly what to do … and even pointed out an issue I didn’t recognize until he pointed it out. I walked out within a few minutes with a great experience and repaired frames with a few minutes to spare before close. No games, no fuss, no pressure. Just professional workmanship and getting the job done quickly … in and out. A+++.
I had installed perfection lenses into my sunglasses from Raen Optics. So; I had leftover subclass lenses. So, I Stoped by here two times past week to have lenses installed in my own frame that I have purchased from Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised that they installed them right away at no cost! I was expecting then to send it the lab and I had to wait weeks! But they installed them right away and I now have 2 extra pairs of sunglasses with the lenses from Raen Optics. While there I notice a huge selection of frame at real competitive prices. Great service and good price; why go anywhere else.
I visited the Vision Center today, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. I politely asked about the price of a pair of Ray-Ban frames, mentioning that my insurance provider (VSP Vision Care) listed this location as being in-network. The staff member initially told me that they did not accept that insurance and suggested I go elsewhere. When I showed her the confirmation on my mobile app, she then acknowledged that they did accept VSP but added that they might only recognize $80, or possibly nothing, from my insurance. She also said that to find out the exact amount, I would need to provide my Social Security Number, and if I didn’t like the price afterward, my insurance would be locked for a month. Throughout the interaction, her attitude remained negative and dismissive. I stayed for a few minutes just to look at the frames, but it was clear there was little interest in helping customers. Walmart should ensure that Vision Center staff are trained to treat customers with professionalism and respect. Good service and accurate information are what build customer trust and long-term business relationships, not indifference or poor communication. For reference, there were two women working at the time: one shorter and one taller; the taller employee was the one displaying unprofessional and childish behavior.
Extremely disappointed with the customer service at this location. I tried to purchase a bag of hay for my guinea pig, but the packaging was clearly ripped and damaged. Despite this, the staff refused to offer any discount or markdown. Most retailers in the US provide a discount for damaged packaging, but not here. Poor service and zero flexibility
