Walmart Vision Center

This place is a complete joke and rude. From making the appointment the manger was rude and unprofessional. Told him I had insurance thru walmart and he rudely said they only take VSP. Made the appointment, when I got there he again was unprofessional about everything. From the greeting , insurance and overall experience. I was trying to get ahold of my wife to get her ssn from insurance. They then hand me a paper for out of pocket price. I did not want to pay out of pocket for what I have insurance for. He then tells me to hurry up that they had other people coming in. I politely ask for the papers I filled out and told them I was just go somewhere else. He hands me the out of pocket paper. I ask him again for the papers I filled out. He then flings it to me and starts to walk away. I tell him to have a nice day politely and walk out. I get a txt from him after I left with the out of pocket charges again. Told him to delete my phone number and to not contact me again. He then calls my wife saying we are no longer allowed there and to find somewhere else. My wife txt asking what's going on and let's me know what he had said. He then txt me saying we are no longer allowed there to find somewhere else. I go back to talk with management. He looks up at me. I said seems we have a problem. He instantly jumps up and say I'm going to get security. At this point someone else is there i ask her for the manger. She tells me he is the manger. So I ask who owns it? She tells me the doctor. I ask to speak to her. After waiting a lady that wasn't the doctor comes back with security. I told her I'm not there to be confrontational that I just wanted to say how unprofessional the management is. Explain my experience with him. She then asked me if I need her to help contact a different walmart to get a eye exam somewhere else. Like walmarts aren't on every corner or I'm to stupid to call someone else. Truly I will be contacting who ever else i need to. To explain how unprofessional this doctors office is. As my wife and sister have had bad experience with the staff. Guess things will never change there.

awesomeness 😎🤩.... Everyone was so extraordinary and sweet ❤️. Definitely a seitch from others treating me horrible because of health insurance... Just updating to new glasses and decided to try fountain Walmart, as my last prescription was filled at Pueblo Walmart. Great experience with both stores. And the dr herself in fountain is so so wonderful 💯😊

Wonderful experience! Daughter and I needed new glasses (and eye exams). Made appointments, we were seen on time. The doctor was friendly and she knew her stuff! Remembered us from 5 years previous which is a trick since I don't even remember that far back. Getting the glasses ordered was simple and quick as well. Due to the pandemic, we did have to wait to get in, but it was under a minute! I told the nice lady I wanted frames as close to my current pair as possible and she had them in hand in under a minute. My daughter's choice took no longer. It took little time to finish our transaction! All employees were fabulously friendly and helpful. This is our go to for glasses and eye related things and that will not change!

I know the service might be lacking, especially during this pandemic. I just came for a quick purchase if the item was in stock. With the new restrictions, I had to stand in the front of the vision center until the customers being helped were done. Granted, it was excruciating to stand for a solid 30-40 minutes, I didn't expect the employees to speed through their current customers to help me. I have no idea what each persons transactions entailed. And if I were those customers, I wouldn't want my service lacking because the employee treats me as a number and not a person. So the 4 stars are for the employees who were nothing but courteous and helpful and kind. It would have been 5 stars if the Vision Center would be understanding enough to put chairs out for customers to sit. There is an employee right by the self check out wiping down counters. Can that person also wipe down the chairs since it's 10 feet from there?

WARNING: This location DOES NOT honor warranties on your lenses! Spoke with upper management twice already about how HURTFUL and UNPROFESSIONAL it is to DROP patient coverage on glasses recently made by Walmart Vision Labs (because the prescription date has passed the one year mark). They say it’s illegal to fulfill the obligations of existing warranties on lenses they just made- I say it’s illegal to sell genuinely good people in need loopholes & LIES! USE CAUTION- don’t let them screw over your family like they did mine! Very expensive mistake- lesson learned (and shared with the locals that deserve the truth)!
