Walmart Vision Center

I've stopped by here a few times and I've also called to ask about my insurance coverage. Why is it that every time you call or speak to anyone at the front desk THEY ARE SO RUDE?! They speak to you like you're bothering them! I have this experience every time! I'm keeping my appointment because I've heard some good things about the doctors. UPDATE: I just came from my appointment but before this I had to reschedule 3 different times and can honestly say that the costumer service has really improved. Dr Lapp was great. I was in and out in an hour and got my glasses.

Ordered a pair of glasses, everything was fine. Went to pick them up and had immediate headache, fishbowl like vision, etc. Was told they were the same prescription as my contacts, and they tried adjusting them with no luck. I was told to go home and try them for a week. Again no luck. I called again and was told my only option was to upgrade to thinner lenses. I called elsewhere and was told my glasses should never be the same prescription as my contacts. Currently in the run around trying to get this fixed. Don’t recommend.

My experiences have been completely different from everyone else on here. First off let me say Cindy is the best, always takes care of me everytime I'm there and makes sure we get the most out of my insurance bucks. I feel the staff is always helpful and friendly when Im there. The new optometrist is great and Im sorry I dont remember her name but she suspected I may have a somewhat rare condition and tested me for it. This is the first time an optometrist has done this, none have ever mentioned it to me or suspected this. She discussed all the options I had available to me. Very impressed! Thank you Walmart Vision.

Doctor told me contacts for astigmatisms do not exist. Had to go back twice due to right contact being blurry; he told me the perscription was right and that was that. Went back to them a month or two later for a copy of my prescriptions, they told me the dr was on vacation and they'd get ahold of me when he came back the next week. That week past and I got no response. Called them, then they said he was out for Fourth of July and they would contact me. STILL haven't heard anything.

Called to schedule an appt for my two boys. Mainly my youngest who hasn't been there yet. After being on hold for 12 minutes I get asked if my husband is still the father of my children! Then placed on hold again, once answered again, she asked for the insurance information, I dont have it. So she cant schedule the appt. Fine! I NEED to get my youngest in and at this point will CASH pay to get him looked at. Fine, she then brings up the next appt time but they me know that's it's not for my youngest but the other child! I hung up! If you can't even listen to what the caller is saying maybe you should open a hearing aide center for the employees first!!
