I wanted to review this vision center because I went in hesitant since it only has 3 starts and very little reviews over the last years. I just took my 5 and 7 year old for eye exams and glasses and they were excellent with their service. The nurses and the doctor were so patient and kind, these tests are hard on kids, my 5yo boy was struggling to stay still during some of the tests and they were very patient with him, they treated us really well and even tho we didn't have insurance they had no problem accommodating us. I definitely recommend them. They were very thorough and made sure the kids were able to see properly. They weren't pushy about what glasses to get or anything. Overall very good experience.

I bought 2 pairs of glasses and used both insurance plans. I can see up close just fine. I put my new glasses on to see far away better, and that was fine. I tried to read as I have always been able to with all of my glasses for over 15 years, and I can't read a thing without taking them off. I take them back the next day and the nice staff person listens, and that person goes back to the optometrist, then comes back and tells me if I want to be able to read with them on, that I have to pay for bifocals. Rude, my prescription is wrong and they've been paid well over $500. Now there's a scratch from taking them off over and over.
Got transition lenses about six months ago. They are on my face all day until I go to bed. The lenses are so scratched that I can hardly see out of them at this point. I have no idea how they can be scratched that bad. For what I gave for them I certainly did not get my monies worth. The staff seemed very uneducated about their jobs.
I have been taking my son to Dr Franzeen for many years. He is wonderful! That said, I don’t believe we will be back. We called today for a supply of prescription contact lenses. We didn’t realize that his prescription expired 4 days ago. Despite it being holiday week and our willingness to schedule an appointment for a new exam as soon as next week, the staff would not provide even a sample to get my son by until the appointment. When I asked them to talk to the Dr about an exception, they said that was not possible. I told the staffer that this response was not acceptable and ridiculous. I insisted that she reach out to the Dr for a sample to get us by until next week, the staff person then had the audacity to advise me that we should have known the date the prescription would expire and we need to plan further ahead so that we don’t run out. She refused to contact the Dr for permission to fill the script and then told me she wasn’t going to argue about their policies and literally hung up on me.
Hard to give a star. I called in 3 times and was transferred there countless times. Someone told me they could see an employee in the vision center while they were on the phone with me. I spent a combined 20 minutes listening to the phone ring and nobody ever answered.
