Total Family Eye Care

Pros: Good equipment. Cons: Poor attention to detail and questionable billing. My wife’s prescription was botched two years running. The first year, they acknowledged the "inconvenience" (which actually cost us and our optician at Costco significant time and resources) with a discount. The second year, they offered nothing for the same mistake. Most concerningly, they charged us for glaucoma treatments that a second opinion confirmed were unnecessary. We have switched to Lumen EyeCare, where we received a professional check-up without the "hidden" charges for unnecessary history.

The office is very clean and professional. They treat you like family! Dr Fulton is very personable! Great experience!!

I visited this clinic for my annual eye check-up. During my first visit, I was given an incorrect prescription. When I returned for a follow-up, I received a new prescription — but unfortunately, that one was also wrong. I had to take three hours off work for each appointment, losing a total of nine hours of work time — and despite all of this, they still charged me. There was no proper resolution or compensation for the repeated mistakes. I do not recommend going to this clinic. My experience was frustrating, time-consuming, and disappointing.

Dr. Howie and his crew are the best around! They don’t treat you like a service, they treat you like family. They do everything they can to make sure you get the most out of your eye care. They have very competitive pricing, considering EVERYTHING it includes to make sure your eyes are in tip top shape. And I can say from experience they work with you on financing, and know what they are doing checking and billing insurance. To me, you pay for what you get and Total Family Eye Care is the whole package!
