All I can say this place is a 5 ⭐️ Doctor was very friendly my kids loved him definitely this will be back in a year. Mark also very nice person and funny he explained everything step by step.
I have never had a problem with the staff. The selection of eyewear is quite nice. Everyone has always been nothing but helpful. I have called in with questions regarding my prescription and the staff always resolves any issues or questions I may have. I recently sent my parents to get glasses here and they were extremely happy with the selection and service.
4/14/25 This is the second time I have purchased glasses from the Gurnee location. The eye Doctor was very efficient with my eye exam and explained things that I didn’t know. I once again had JJ who is amazing with helping me picking out my new glasses! He is extremely professional, very knowledgeable and really takes his time and patience with every customer.. I encourage everyone to give Gurnee Walmart vision center a try. The staff is extremely professional. It’s neat it’s clean. You can ask anybody on the floor a question and someone will be happy to help you.! Wendy B
Been going here since I was little. Dr is great and knows me well even after a year or more of not seeing me. And the staff are usually very friendly. (Had an issue with 1). I go here even when I have other options that my insurance will cover part of cause they are cheaper and I'm comfortable with them. Great place!
Hmmmmm.....where do I begin? Every interaction at this location was HORRIBLE. From the lack of communication to them scratching of the only good lens that I did not want replaced to waiting for Amy the Manager for 1/2 an hour only to find out that they would call me and on and on and on. The front end desk was equally disappointing when I talked to Brittanie about the lousy experience. Although, I will say, Brittanie did at least appear to listen. This has to be one of the WORST experiences of lousy customer service I have ever had. Long story short, after schlepping back and forth 3 times and cancelling my order I went to Target Optical in Mundelein. You can read my 5 star review that I gave them. Do yourself a favor and avoid doing business with Walmart Vision & Glasses.
