Had to cancel my 11 yo's regular optometrist appointment and we were scrambling to get new glasses before school starts. Staff was all friendly and helpful, and the Dr. really took her time with my son and made sure he was comfortable and getting the best lenses possible. She also gave us more information and advice on his stigmatism than we'd received at our regular office. I was very impressed. Excellent care and customer service all around.

Wanted to give 0 star if I could. They called me the day before my appointment and said I was fine with my insurance and that I would be covered. Yet when I was finished with the appointment they charged me the contacts fitting fee and said my insurance only covers in a month. I could've come back in a month and I wasn't in any hurry but they assured me it would be OK. This isn't the right way to recruit business. Anyone out there please triple check with your insurance and don't take Walmart people's word for it.
The optometrist Dr. Vicki Thomas is so nice. Very informative and answered a lot of my questions without me asking. Rick helped me pick out my frames and lenses and was super friendly. I’ve been wearing glasses since 2001 and this was probably the best experience I’ve had at any optometrist clinic. I will definitely be back when the time comes. Thank you Rick and Vicki.
Just called to make an appointment and a very rude associate not only laughed, but scoffed, and was extremely sarcastic all because I asked to make an appointment. I work in customer service and there is absolutely no reason to behave that way to someone who is being polite. I’m so extremely disappointed and honestly LIVID that an associate spoke to me that way like I was DUMB. If you don’t have a doctor on sight, make that clear. Don’t be openly rude and disrespectful to clients who are just trying to get their eyes checked, how are we supposed to know?? I have half a mind to go in there and see who is acting that way because it is completely unacceptable. Then I tried to reach out to Walmart HR and after waiting for 5 minutes for someone to answer got hung up on. Absolutely ridiculous.
Seems like only run on time if you are the 1st appointment of the day. Last year I waited an hour total for Dr. This year my appointment was at 915 at 10 still no Dr. Staff is nice, try to be helpful, come across as caring. If only my time was valued.
