Walmart east vision center has been great to me since 2014. Dr Butler and staff are polite to me and any customer I see there while I am briefly waiting for my appointment. They have a great selection of glasses and good prices! I don’t understand other 1 star reviews under this Walmart eye center, until I click on their Google profile and see they give everywhere they go a 1 star, so Walmart eye center isn’t sad, they are sad.
I went during a slower part of the day. They were friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. The Optometrist was friendly and competent. They had frames I liked that another place in Jefferson City didn't have, and my completed glasses arrived in only 4 days. I recommend them and will myself return with wife and son.
I really like the doctor here. He is very thorough and takes his time. He explans any changes that may have occurred since your last visit. I wasn't super impressed with his assistant as she kept complaining loudly about how she was the only one working the front. She also made a loud, huffy remark about the doctor leaving something off of the form. I get that being under staffed is not fun but I don't think that was very professional at all, especially in front of a patient. I'm sure she's made a mistake before and it's not like they were super busy. I was the only patient there. Maybe she was just having a bad day..idk..
Plan to waste 1-2 hours past appt time. An hour later today and he still hadn't bothered speaking to me. I asked for prescription so i could take my business elsewhere and had to wait over an hour to get it from an assistant. Piss poor customer service. Not much of a selection of glasses or contacts. You are ignored when you ask for things. I asked for a box of contacts with prescription....was handed prescription and then she turned and walked off. Trust me, I'd rather someone else take my money than to have to deal with them again.
