Walmart Vision Center

I had a great experience at the Vision Center inside Walmart thanks to Patricia and Simone. From the moment I walked in, they were both extremely helpful and genuinely focused on making sure I got exactly what I needed—not just making a sale. They went out of their way to try and accommodate my request by calling multiple locations and checking availability for me for the new Oakley Meta glasses. Even though they ultimately didn’t have what I was looking for in-store, they didn’t just leave it at that. Instead, they pointed me in the right direction and recommended I visit LensCrafters so I could try the frames on in person before purchasing. What stood out most was their honesty and professionalism. They made it clear they didn’t want to push a product on me without me being confident in my choice, which says a lot about their customer service. That level of care and integrity is rare and definitely appreciated. Huge thanks to Patricia and Simone for going above and beyond—customer service like that doesn’t go unnoticed.

Service issue: A vision center employee (Simone) refused to release my eyeglasses, which were already paid for due to the lack of an ophthalmologist. This restriction was not conveyed to me prior to purchase nor within the electronic correspondence sent to me informing me my glasses were ready to pick up. Customer service issue: When I arrived at the Vision Center at approximately 9:30 am on 17 March, I encountered an employee (Simone) who informed me about the policy and said she would call the ophthalmologist and I should return at 12:00. I asked her if she was certain that they would be in, and with minor agitation in her voice she said yes. I departed the center and continued my day. Prior to returning, I called the Center at 12:24 to inquire if the ophthalmologist was in she (Simone) said no and that she would call to have them arrive at 1 pm. I asked about our previous conversation, and in an agitated voice, she said that she did not work the weekend and did not know the schedules. I told her that I hadn’t received an exam at their center, and I was not interested in seeing the ophthalmologist; I only wanted to retrieve my glasses, which had already been paid for. To this, she said in an even more agitated voice that she would not release my glasses and I would have to speak to her manager the following day to get my glasses dispensed. This conversation led me to believe that Simone lied to me about contacting the ophthalmologist the first time or is incompetent in her duties at the Vision Center. Either way her customer service skills were lacking today.

Did y’all just pluck the staff straight from heaven! Viana is an absolute angel!! Helped me find glasses in a great price range and kept me giggling the entire time! Man you can’t find better customer service if ya tried! Thank you all for being so amazing and helping me find exactly what I needed!

Got 3 pairs of glasses great value. My Vision deals great, didn’t had the experience for a while now. Ms. Susanne takes measurements with absolute precision. Im happy with exam and glasses.
