Have been wearing glasses since I was 4 years old so I know how they’re supposed to feel and fit on my face. I’ve never had problems at any other eye doctor, but not here. They checked on my eyes, I needed new lenses so they made sure my prescription would still be a fit, it was, they did increase my left eye, but that’s normal as it’s weaker, and that was fine. When I received these glasses (they were pricey) they kept getting hair caught in them and I was dizzy, and the world looked a little too round😂 like I was using .5 when taking pictures! It was awful so I went back to see if there been a mistake, but they claimed they changed nothing and I’d get used to them. After a week I still couldn’t see very well and was very uncomfortable so I ordered my glasses off of Zenni, and I love them. I see exactly the way I should, and all I did was put my prescription in. It was $15 on this app🤦♀️ vs over $100 here

Have been a long term customer here for years. Have always had fast dependable service. Everyone is very knowledgeable and always happy to help with everything from insurance to the final fitting and pick up. Just recently took my Mom there and she too was so happy with how helpful everyone is and looks forward to getting her new glasses.
Before making an appointment for an eye exam, I asked if they accepted Medicaid. They said yes, gave me an estimate, and I made an appointment for Jan 5, 2023. When I arrived, they gave me paperwork to fill out, and I noticed the estimates on the documents requiring my signature were much higher. Since I had waited for the appointment, I decided to pay the higher amount anyway. Before they took any measurements of my eyes, the staff asked what my current prescription was. This was confusing because the purpose of an eye appointment is to receive results - not for the professionals to ask the patient what their diagnosis is. The staff seemed moderately professional despite seeming rushed along with the exam. Dr. Brown insinuated that I was failing to take care of my eyes since it had been some years since I had gone in for an exam. Before I could speak, she made the assumption that I was wearing the same contact lenses for much longer than advised. With her assumptions, word choice, and tone, she came across as being critical and short rather than a professional healthcare provider who is to treat and educate patients rather than scold them. This was a bit off-putting. I told Dr. Brown I had been ordering contact lenses and getting eye exams through 1800Contacts. Since I am young, healthy, and my prescription hadn't changed for years, this was not an irresponsible choice. After all, I was there that day, getting my eyes looked at in depth with powerful diagnostic tools. During the exam, Dr. Brown eventually changed her attitude and demeanor. After my exam, she wrote a prescription and sent me home with a trial pair of lenses before being instructed to return to order contact lenses and/or eyeglasses. I tried on the new lenses and couldn't see well at all. I proceeded to make a side-by-side comparison of my old and new lenses - then, I was confident my prior lens prescription was, in fact, much better. Calling back the next day, I disclosed this information and commented on their lack of professionalism regarding providing misinformation about Medicaid coverage and giving me the wrong prescription. I called back and requested another appointment. I returned on Jan 9, 2023 for the second eye exam. Upon my return, I was made to wait in the waiting room for 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time as they were busy helping a very kind man who did not have an appointment scheduled yet had trouble with his contacts. After I was brought into the back, Dr. Brown did the exam for the second time. After the exam, she explained that the contact lenses had been on backorder for some time, so she gave me the wrong prescription that was the closest she had in stock. She informed me that the lenses in stock did not have quarter measurements; therefore, she gave me a lens that was off by -0.25 in strength. She said I would have to wait two weeks for the trial pair. I requested they be sent to my residence, which she acknowledged. Dr. Brown told me they would arrive at my residence instead of the office and would not be charged for shipping. I called back the other day Jan 24th, 2023 and they said that one lens have arrived at the office, yet they were still waiting for the other lens and were delayed due to a backorder delay (once again). I told her Dr. Brown said they would be shipped to my residence, and the receptionist seemed a bit surprised, saying the trial lenses are shipped to the facility only. I asked when I could go pick BOTH lenses up. After a few moments of silence, she asked if she could call me back after checking in with the order and shipping times. I agreed and said I would love to be provided updates about when to expect the order to arrive. Two days later, I still haven't received a callback with any new information. At this point, I have given up. I will never return nor call this facility. The level of professionalism at this location is under par. I advise anyone considering visiting this facility not to expect to be given accurate information or to be treated respectfully.
Holly the manager is wonderful! The doctor's office made a mistake with my Insurance and it was taking a long time to get the charges reserved. Holly went out of her way to make sure I had contacts and that everything that needed to be done was done quickly. Holly knows what good customer service really is! Thank you Holly!
The wonderful service that I received from Wendy, Angie, April, Holly and Karen. These ladies provide true customer service. During all my many visits to purchase, or repair my glasses I have worked with all 4 ladies and received wonderful customer service. I highly recommend you go and visit the store and purchase your next glasses.
