Jake is the best! Informed, skilled, and willing to share his opinion if you want. Large selection of frames at great prices. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for a quality eye exam with a fun and capable optometrist, this is a great place to come. If you want to use that eyeglass prescription to buy glasses, do NOT shop at this Walmart Vision & Glasses unless you enjoy being treated like you're an annoyance. My daughter had an exam with Dr. Arenos a few years ago and she told me after, "Mom! You would LOVE this eye doctor! He reminds me of Dr. Jamie (our old optometrist in Florida). He's got such a great sense of humor and I really loved him!" I didn't have a need for an eye exam until recently, but when I did, I remembered what she said and I went to see him. I definitely enjoyed that part of the process. The eye exam itself was great and Dr. Arenos is spectacular! However, my husband and I both had the same feeling while picking out glasses: that the girls working in the optical had better things to do than deal with us. I don't remember much about the process at this point (it has been a couple of months since I visited), but that feeling of being an annoyance sticks with me to this day every single time I walk by there. When I went to pick my glasses up, the girl who was working at the time (the same one who "helped" me order my glasses) brought them out for me to try on, asked me if I liked them, then just sent me on my way. They were too loose and I told her I thought they needed to be adjusted. She said, "Nah! They fit you great!" and then walked away. They slid down my face every single time I turned my head. If I bend over for something, they fall off my face. I haven't bothered getting them adjusted yet, but I'm going to go get another pair of glasses somewhere else when I've got some free time. I don't actually like these frames anyway. They were the least crappy of what was offered at Walmart. Their selection leaves a lot to be desired.
The vision team is so kind, patient, and willing to help. The team has been here for many years and that experience really comes through in their service. Both the doctor and the opticians in the center are wonderful.
I did not purchase my glasses from Walmart vision Transit Road Williamsville but stopped in to ask that 2 pair of glasses be readjusted. I was waited on immediately by the manager (Maureen?) Who proceeded to fix both; the Ray Ban sunglasses were in real bad shape after I sat on them! She fixed both but when I asked cost she said no charge. I tried to tip her, but when refused. She was so pleasant! I will definitely go there the next time I need new glasses.
I received a pair a year and a half ago that lasted 6 months. I paid 500 dollars for the pair, and they never felt accurate. I gave the place a second chance, but they ordered sunglasses when I asked for transitions. I'll be taking my prescription elsewhere. The optician is okay, but do not take the retailers seriously.
