Walmart Vision Center

Can't say enough good things about my experience here. My day so far had been rough- my foster dog chewed up my glasses right before work, and things kept getting worse. Among other things, the eyeglass shop I stopped by couldn't identify my glasses and so they couldn't replace my broken frames, and I didn't know my prescription so they couldn't get me new lenses and frames. They said there wasn't anything they could do and didn't have any suggestions for what I should do. I went to Walmart next, and everything was quickly sorted out. Within minutes, Mary did some detective work and identified my glasses and found a pair on eBay for $50. They'll arrive in a couple days and I'll be able to fit my current lenses into them. She also called around to get me a next-day appointment at another Walmart location and explained my insurance would cover the exam and replacement glasses. I thought things couldn't get any better, but then she took my mangled frames into the back and after a few minutes returned them functional, bent back into shape with the lenses securely in place. I couldn't believe it- these things weren't just a little bent. They were completely crushed. So I left able to see my way home, with replacement frames on the way, and a next-day appointment to get my prescription checked again + new glasses. Thanks for everything, Mary. :)

I confused my actual appointment date and showed up a day later. Not only did they still take me in but I didn’t have to wait to see the doctor. Dr. Kim was very friendly and informative. He educated me on some changes my eyes had and may go through. The rest of the staff was great too. They did extra leg work regarding my insurance company and overall I was very happy with them. I was s little nervous since I had a great doctor and clinic elsewhere but my insurance no longer covered my appts there. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised.

The lady had me on the phone for 20 minutes getting insurance info to make an appointment then throws in at the end....oh by the way you can't use insurance to purchase glasses here anymore. Should've been her first statement but typical of Walmart employees

I have been coming to Walmart Webster for years. I have always had prompt, competent and friendly service. Recently my contacts didn't arrive as expected, and they made a special effort to have them overnighted to my home. Can't ask for more than that! Dave, Amy, Dr. Kim and the rest of the team are great!

I called the Vision center 4 times back to back and they never picked up the phone, same thing with Hudson Avenue location. What's going on? I guess they don't want my business 🤷.
