Walmart Vision Center

If I were you and reading this right now, I wouldn’t even think of going anywhere else for your vision care and needs. The staff has bright smiles as they greet you and offer to provide service as soon as you walk in. Terrence, Zerqa and the first gentleman who set up my appointment were each so very personable and helpful. Dr. Jallim was A-mazing! So professional and efficient. Knowledgeable and kind as she moved through the steps of a thorough exam. While some doctors are totally emotionless, Dr. Jallim was just as happy as I was that I found the contact lenses I loved. I was initially given an exam appointment a month away, yet because I asked to be put on their cancellation waitlist as well, I was literally called in two days later. Zerqa helped me to optimize the dis points offered through my insurance so that I saved out of pocket $ and got the best bang for the $ spent. They take so many different insurances that you should definitely check to see if they accept yours and exactly how many wonderful discounts you qualify for. I left there feeling so well taken care of, that I can’t wait to go back to pick up my glasses and colored contact lenses.

I would like to detail the highs and lows of my experience here. Keith and Terrance could not have been more professional, helpful, understanding and patient. 5 stars for their service when I came in for eye exam and glasses purchase. These guys are very good in customer care! John on the other hand, needs significant customer service training. He processed my refund efficiently and competently. However, he never looked up to say hello, acknowledge that I was there or behave like he was interacting with a human. Wal-Mart, you can do better than this. And when I inquired about the refund seeming less than what I paid, he gave me the information but in a way that was condescending and snarky. As if to say, duh! You should have known that. You know those type of interactions, yea? I think John can benefit from just a few solid tips on greeting the customer in a friendly way and watching his tone when a sincere question is being asked. Easy fixes, but he’ll need to practice!

Went to Walmart Vision, had an appointment for 11:30 today. Got there, was told the appointment was for 11:00. The doctor wouldn't see us. We were told to make another appointment. Someone wrote the time down wrong. The person I was with had to take the day off in order to go there. Were they going to reimburse him for the lost wages???? Of course not! Oh well, too bad, make another appointment! Not on your life, not there! Went somewhere else and was taken in within a timely fashion. In the end he was very satisfied with the results. Will he ever go back to Walmart Vision,,,,,Never! Would he ever recommend them???? Never!

Great customer service and great prices at this Walmart vision center. Zerqa helped me get the best deal on contacts and new glasses. I highly recommend this business.

Had a little mishap with my #1 pair of glasses had set them down on the grass near where I was working on something and close so I would not step on them and when I got up I placed my hand on the glasses and popped out the lenses I broke the frame. I carefully picked up the lenses rinsed them (AR coated transitions HD lenses $$$$) I was taking a trip south for a doctors appointment and was going to stop at the Walmart I bought them from(Fishkill NY) When I did get there the and was greeted by John the Optical tech found my exact frames on display although it had been 1 year 7 months since my purchase(lucky they still had) and he asked if I wanted to do the swap and of course yes and I was out of there in 15 minutes and he fitted and checked the frames on me. Great customer service and would recommend this vision center for their outstanding customer service all I had to pay was 119.00 a bargain to get the exact frames and the ultra fast turn around. So just because it is a Walmart vision center doesn't mean it is sub par customer service is provided by an individual not a store. Couldn't be happier with the outcome on a bad incident.
