Walmart Vision Center

One of the opticians here helped my wife and I. Her name is Tina. She was very helpful and professional. She priced out many different options with our insurance and offered us a discount on our second pair. She took the time to make sure we understood our options, as well as providing us with solutions to receive what we need with our budget. We received everything we wanted (and more), while not spending more than we had to. Very great service. The doctor there was extremely thorough and professional, as well. This was our first time coming here and will certainly not be our last.

If I could give them zero stars I would. My husband went for an exam and glasses. Ordered his glasses, was told 7-10 days. I called today got nowhere. Called our insurance, they called Walmart only to find out they never put the claim because "there was problems" or from what the insurance said Walmart vision center employees weren't trained to put the claims properly. They never called to tell us they were having problems with the insurance or anything. This place isn't worth the time or energy.

All experiences are different, mine was absolutely wonderful every time. All the girls there are absolutely a pleasure to speak/interact with. They always greet us with a smile and always explains what route we can take with our glasses. There are 2 male doctors and my mother and I are always taken great care of. Both of the doctors, are very attentive and takes there time with my mother since she knows broken English, but understands well. They also try to learn Spanish words (like how was your day, please read the letters, etc.) while we’re there to help accommodate other Spanish patients as well to at least get them comfortable with them which is awesome in my book! I feel like family whenever I go to this location. Definitely recommend to anyone reading my honest review! Remember, the energy you give is the energy you give back :) Thank you to the staff!

I waited ON HOLD too long, just for them to say they have nothing available for a simple eye exam. I never leave reviews but this needs to be said, the attitude of whomever answered the phone 10Apr2025 @ 2:56pm should be studied. I can respect not having anything available but the attitude is FULLY unnecessary. I was indeed frustrated waiting for 20mins and getting DISCONNECTED off the line. I would NOT and will NOT go here, from here on OUT !

This Vision Center is under new management and the staff is very patient, respectful and knowledgeable.
