Dr. Derby was so wonderful with my 6 year old for his first eye exam. She made it fun for him, and was thorough where she needed to be and quick where she could. She got creative when he was trying to memorize the letters. Bryce was very friendly and helpful as well. We had not yet added our son to our vision insurance and need to wait until open enrollment, so this $60 exam was the perfect solution.

I love the optometrist here, Dr Derby, and have been returned for over a decade even after trying the optometrist at eyeglass world close by. She does a terrific job. Since it's in Walmart, I don't really expect reliability from employees to answer the phone... And that was the case today. It's January 30th and I decided to drive over, but on my way I called to make sure the doctor was in. Absolutely no answer and when I arrived, the employee was simply in the back room not answering the phone and explained that the doctor would be in tomorrow. Just answer the phone... My repeated business has been earned by Dr Derby, and since I live in Taylorsville it is about a 15 minute drive. Experiences like these typically deter me from continuing at this location.

First of all the supposed manager there is utterly and extremely rude so two months prior I purchased a pair of glasses they’re just the frames they sold me the display frames which only lasted two months then broke. I went again to purchase the same ones or a different color and asked if I can get the new ones instead of the display ones since I’m paying for something new and he was so rude and said they didn’t have any that that was the only pair they had I’ve worked at a Walmart vision center , he could have suggested for me to order new ones and they’d be shipped out, but he was so rude and so quick to shoo me away , when I first got there, he was nowhere to be found he was somewhere in the back, all in all, I would not recommend you guys to get your glasses here because they are extremely unprofessional and make you feel so uncomfortable

Had a wonderful, professional experience, in every aspect, with Bryce helping me select new frames for two pair of new glasses. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating! I'm very happy with my purchases!!

Hello. I visited the eye center on June 6, 2023, with my new prescription to examine the options for new set of glasses. I met with Kyle Schons (Vision Center Manager), Kyle was quite helpful in setting up what would be the right frames and lenses. I placed the order, and was notified in 4 days that my order was ready, made a visit for fit and adjustment. In about 3-4 weeks then after, I noted that there were some issue with lenses of sun glasses, so I went back to store and Kyle was there at that time, again, he was eager to help me to resolve the issue, and replacing the frame and lenses with a better quality option and credited me with the price difference. I received the new pair 2 days ago, and I am very happy with new set. Kyle Schons's customer service is commendable and his approach in helping me to correct the issue is very much appreciated. I highly recommend to make a visit to the Fort Union vision center and ask for Kyle to support your needs in prescription glasses that you need or any other services related to vision that are offered at that store. Once again, Thank you Kyle Schons for your great service and customer care, appreciated you.
