Excellent friendly service. Dr. Aillen Lamela, OD is very patient during testing, thorough at explaining everything, kind and compassionate. Medical Assistant is friendly and knowledgeable, took the time to answer any and all questions I had with dignity and respect. Front desk and all other staff was also very friendly and went above and beyond to make my experience for my appointment very comfortable as I am in a wheelchair and handicapped. Thank for the compassion and great experience as always!

They don't take my insurance here, but I was given such a great exam a few years ago that I decided to come to Walmart E. Silver Springs Blvd. and pay out of pocket. SO glad that I did, Dr. LaMela is so thorough & takes time to really examine her patients' eyes. She answered my questions & was able to explain a problem that I have been bothered with for a long time. I still had frames, cheap ones, from 4-5 years ago, nobody tried to up-sell me or push me in to anything more expensive. I got my new glasses within a week, which is so much faster than the place I went last time. (Ordered prescription sunglasses when I went in to pick up my glasses.) They fitted them well & quickly, everyone was friendly and professional. I just can't say enough about how happy I was with the whole experience at this Walmart!

I need glasses with 4.5 prism for each eye. I had exams and glasses made elsewhere with poor success in getting good vision, to the extent of having unwearable glasses $$$. More importantly I was worried and frustrated I would never get satisfactory vision. But fortunately, Dr Lamela is excellent examining and prescribing when prisms are necessary. Beth, Licensed Optician, at Silver Springs Walmart Vision Center, and Dr Lamela went to great lengths to match my prescription to type of lens, eye measurements and even how i position my head. I now have excellent vision and comfort with my glasses. I can not express enough appreciation to Beth, Dr Lamela, Jason, and the entire staff at Silver Springs Walmart Vision Center.
