Waterford Lakes Eyecare

I have been a patient of Dr. Nair at Waterford Lakes Eye Care for almost six years and have always trusted his care. About three months ago, I had an eye exam and purchased new glasses based on the prescription he provided. Unfortunately, I have been unable to see clearly up close with these glasses. When I contacted the office to explain the issue and request that my prescription be rechecked, I was told that I would need to pay out of pocket for an entirely new exam. No effort was made to review the original prescription, schedule a follow-up evaluation, or offer any reasonable solution. The only option presented was to pay for another appointment. After being a loyal patient for nearly six years, I found this response extremely disappointing. Good patient care should include standing behind your work and addressing concerns when a patient is having difficulty with a prescription shortly after an exam. Based on my experience, I would encourage others to carefully consider their options when choosing an eye doctor. Customer service and patient care matter just as much as the exam itself.

Dr. Nair has been caring for my family for a few years. He does a great job and is trustworthy. The staff is very friendly and they help me find good value for my purchases.

I came for a new pair of glasses and was very satisfied with the service and the final product. The service representative, Greg, was very attentive and helpful with the selection of frames and lens type. Dr. Gilbert was careful and patient during the first refraction procedure. (Due to a planned eye surgery I had to have each eye tested separately.). Dr. Nair is very knowledgeable and skilled, and took great effort to ensure the second refraction was the best possible. I made appointments each time I went and the wait to be seen was 20 minutes the first time and 30 minutes the second time. I don't know what the wait would be for a walk-in without and appointment.

I'm happy that Waterford Lakes Eyecare is included in my health plan network. I've passed their store front hundreds of times and never noticed it was there. It's a small space but runs more efficiently than most other eyecare centers. Everyone there makes you feel welcome and important.

Eye exams quick and easy. Choosing new eyewear- many choices and my helper was very patient. When glasses came in , I was informed right away. They had a scratch so was sent back for repair. New glasses were made correctly and tech made nose pieces fit me just right.
