Wells Vision And Laser Eye Center

Love this office! I have been through several different eye doctors and they always leave the area. Doctor Wells is very nice and professional. He listens and helps anyway he can. We all have different problems with our eyes so a doctor that actually listens is rare. Thank you for taking care of my eyes!

I have been a client of Wells Vision for several years. I am so pleased with this practice. The front desk is engaging and Dr. Wells so up to date on the health of our eyes. I trust them with my eye care!

I have been seeing Dr Wells for quite some time. That entire offices’ attention to detail is impeccable and his care for everything eyes is like doctor I have ever been able to fully trust and not think they are in it for the money. Thank you Dr Wells and staff for all of my eye care needs including vision, lacis surgery, and identifying other needs to make my life more comfortable.

I don’t lie. Their response should tell you all you need to know. Perfectly transparent about my other health conditions, and the times that would be best for my health conditions. Apparently they cannot treat disabled people or within two years offer an appointment that is a time that is suitable for a disabled person * Fisher is NOT a world class surgeon Been struggling w/their appointments 2 yrs. Not transparent about their Tu- Thur only office in Santa Rosa Beach. Not transparent about which Dr will be there on Tuesday or Thursday or an optician only one day a week. But I was told that I needed to come back for a follow up because none of the above were there that day. And I was told “eventually you will need to come to Destin and see Dr. Wells because he has all the equipment” I am in this condition because of Dr. Brett Fisher. While he was over there training Dr. Wells to do Lasik surgery, I am a victim of horrible cataract, surgery and laser implants by that Fisher, who was there training Dr Wells! Eventually, they close down their Santa Rosa Beach Office. Didn’t even tell me that was my last opportunity, Needed to come back for a follow up visit to an office that was closed. I do have other health concerns and considerations and I am a survivor of hurricane Michael category five Their appointment scheduling an availabilities in Destin. I do believe they deliberately tried to set it up to where I would never make it. I constantly had to remind them that it needed to be away from holiday weekends coming down Highway 98 from Bay County, And it would need to be in the afternoon so that I could also get back. I contemplated getting a motel room. I’ve been concerned about driving in Lyft and the cost associated. I think scheduling somebody for a July 3 appointment and saying that there will be no holiday traffic in Destin in 3 o’clock in the afternoon is setting somebody up for failure. I contacted them prior to the appointment, at the time of the appointment I told them I was concerned. Now that the two year mark has passed, a.k.a. any legal capability or liabilities, they refuse to even speak with me. As a matter of fact, the lady even hung up on me when I was calling, she interrupted me and started barking off information about my medical records, As I was constantly trying to get rescheduled. The only time she answered this time was to let me know that my medical records have been sent to “Pearl Vision center” I have eyes that are messed up from macular degeneration, From Dr. Brett Fisher, who also was there at that time and I told him I did not want to be in the office at the same time as Brett Fisher. This is my eyes! This was my vision! I began this surgery venture in the first place to remove cataracts, I never asked for laser implants. That was all Brett Fisher! And then he goes over there and starts training people, and I have to avoid my appointments because of him? He can see just fine to get around! And that woman was rude to me and to hang up on me as she did. I can speak to a Doctor Who did surgery on my legs. It was no longer in my insurance network from seven years ago, and he has more compassion and empathy be after hours or during business hours. That’s how he treated me after hurricane Michael. I suppose he’s gotten himself all sorted out Dr. Wells and has his second office closed down that also was misleading that I started off and begin with and they let that Dr. Pelly go because she needed to be full-time. None of this is my fault. Just like having to wear glasses now 24 seven is not my fault. I wasn’t a full-time glasses where before my surgery. No, I can’t get the right prescription to save my life and they are in my insurance network. And they referred my vision over to where I asked for to send records since they weren’t returning my calls. Before she hung up on me again. And that’s out of network that I have to pay for all of their irresponsibility and negligence.

I’m so grateful for the exceptional care provided by Kevin Wells, OD, and his staff. They are kind, professional, and welcoming. The doctor is not only highly skilled but also truly compassionate—taking time to listen and explain everything clearly. The staff is equally qualified and attentive, making the entire experience comfortable and reassuring. I highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking excellent eye care with a personal touch.
