We love Dr Lutz and all the staff at Wendell Eye Care. We have been seeing Dr Lutz for many years now and would not trust our vision and eye care with anyone else. Dr Lutz and his team are awesome to work with especially if you need prescription glasses. They are very knowledgeable and thorough in the eye exams. Dr Lutz spends as much time with you as needed to hear your concerns and answer any questions you may have on his diagnosis and recommendations for you. Our experience with Wendell Eye Care was exceptional. Our kids were anxious about their appointment but they made them feel so comfortable and welcomed that they truly did not want to leave! This is the place to go if you have little ones that are afraid of doctors. They turned a simple visit into an adventure. Thank you to all of the employees for doing their part to make them feel comfortable and loved.

This practice is amazing, simply put! The ladies at the front desk are so pleasant, knowledgeable & patient. I've been here 4 weeks straight due to myself & 3 family members being seen (& subsequently picking up contacts & glasses). Each time, I was welcomed like it was the initial visit! I now feel like family. The physicians were personable, friendly & welcomed any questions we had related to our eye care. The exams were thorough, but also quick & I left with a better understanding of how to care for our eyes. Sidenote: I ultimately chose this location because our last eye doc was extremely rude at a previous visit (TEI-Knightdale). Because I purchased glasses online instead of from the provider directly (I used the prescription provided by his practice). I was insulted for doing so & antagonized about whether or not I cared for my children!! I knew Wendell Eye Care was different when I brought those same glasses to this practice to have the lens updated & the staff stated, "these frames are beautiful." A totally different reaction from what I had received prior! Since this is an absolute necessity for my family, I look forward to building a lasting relationship with the individuals here.

Dr. Lutz and his staff are amazing! My 7 year old daughter was very nervous about the appointment but the moment we walked in she talked about how friendly the front desk staff were. Nichole was professional, friendly, and very informative. Dr. Lutz was wonderful! He explained things so that not only I would be able to understand them but also my daughter. She left the appointment so excited for her glasses to come in where prior to she was so nervous and worried. I would highly recommend Wendell Eye and Dr. Lutz to anyone looking for an eye doctor. They will definitely make you feel welcomed.

Dr. Vick was very attentive to detail and gave excellent care. The staff was very efficient. The new location was amazing! The design team knocked it out of the park on all of the details. Very pleasant environment and boutique style showroom for eyewear selections. The old bank vault was a great added touch. Loved the custom window to the lab area. Highly recommend! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stopped by 3/7/24 to have my glasses adjusted. Paul was delightful and very helpful and timely in correcting my issue.
