The staff at this ophthalmologist’s office is friendly, but the waiting times are incredibly long. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment and still had to wait 40 minutes after my scheduled time to be seen. Once I was finally called into the examination room, I had a quick evaluation with the optometrist, who was incredibly attentive. However, after the evaluation, I was sent to another waiting area for the dilation drops to take effect, which took about 15 more minutes. Then, I was called to the ophthalmologist’s office, but to my surprise, they just left me there waiting again for the doctor to show up. After being seated there for about 15 minutes, the doctor finally arrived. After all that, I was hoping that this would be like other places where after dilating your eyes, they repeat the formula test to ensure everything is in order. But to my surprise, it was the quickest and most superficial appointment I’ve ever had. Basically, the doctor just test the eye tension (which was already performed by the optometrist) and look at the back of the eye. So, essentially, you pay to be stuck in a waiting room and then be seen by an optometrist. Oh and after getting my new glasses done. It is possible that may be some issues with the formula, because even though I already confirmed in different places to check if the new glasses matches the prescription and they do. I am still not able to use them basically because when I use them I just see blurry / double. So to be honest I would choose another place for my appointment next time just because of my experience with this place.
