The staff were very pleasant and friendly. The office organized and clean. My wait times were the concern. I waited an hour before taken back to exam. And an hour and half after that seen by Dr. (who I very much liked. He took time to thoroughly discuss my issues). I was there 2 hours 45 min. That’s not ideal.
My son has disabilities and their team did an amazing job. They were all very supportive and used tailored and flexible communication methods. Staff were extremely friendly. They also have an amazing selection of glasses. A++
What a delightful experience! Yes, you read that correctly--The staff was cheerful and friendly; the technician thorough and compassionate, and Dr. McLaughlin is the quintessential eye professional, exuding total confidence and expertise. Everything was explained thoroughly; wasn't rushed, and didn't feel like I was just an "invisible" number in a meat market. It truly was an unexpected pleasure. I would highly recommend Shenandoah Eye Associates to anyone who will listen!
My appointment was kept at the time scheduled, I was greeted pleasantly,given the necessary paperwork, and taken back promptly. The Tech was professional and kind,she got me done, and I waited to see the Dr.,who came in,did her exam and was very pleasant and informative. I left feeling pleased and grateful. My next appointment was scheduled with my input, and I was out in a great time.
Dr. George Agritellis and his team did such an outstanding job! I was quite nervous to have a cataract removed and lens replaced, but everything went so well! From his detailed paperwork, explanation of treatment, to his incredible bedside manor, I felt very confident in his care. The ladies at the office and all the nurses at the Eye Sugicenter went over and above to make sure I was ok. Special thank you to Kate, RN, and Mary, Nurse Anesthetist, for making sure I was "sleepy" and calm for the laser part. You guys are ALL the best! I can't recommend you enough! With that said, I really hope I don't have to see you again! And this was my "one and done"! :)
