I genuinely like and respect Dr. Kurzon. I have been her patient approximately 5 years now and I wouldn't dream of going to someone else. She clearly knows what she's doing and takes great care in staying on top of the care for my eyes. Additionally, I have found her staff to be very kind and professional. Thank you, Dr. Kurzon!

Dr. Kurzon. has taken care of our entire family for years, and we are so grateful for the level of care she provides. She is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and responsive, but what truly sets her apart is how much time she takes to really listen and get to know her patients. We are truly grateful to her and her team!
When I got there, I only had a short wait even though they were short staffed and busy. The staff is always nice and Dr Kurzon is the best! One time when I went for a checkup, she discovered that I had a partially detached retina and was able to get me with a specialist that afternoon, and they were able to take care of it right away! I would recommend her in a heart beat. She really really cares about what she does.
I spent four hours there and they have not finished tending to me. They said they have a new system but the manager did not do anything to plan ahead. It is not an excuse to say that they have a new system. What were they trying to do, have everyone wait for more than four hours each patient? The management was negligent by not providing ways to expedite the business operations properly and in an efficient way. She should have been hands-on to the operations to make sure that everyone gets attended to on time. My appointment was at 9am and I have been in the area since 7:30 am since my appointment was at 7:45am and if I hadn't said anytime at almost 9am, they wouldn't have called my name for the 1st step. Then I saw the optometry tech, who did my refraction, then was accompanied back to the dark room / area, got called later on to be seen by the optometrist and then was sent back to the waiting area again.by the optometrist Fr. Maiorano who's such a cool old man and his secretary. After an hour of waiting, one of the girls at front desk asked me if I was waiting to be checked out. Obviously, they didn't know what they were doing. There was no proper coordination. Obviously, the manager who was supposed to take care of everything was not doing her job while the girls who were like three or four of them were not paying attention to what's going on and not even taking any initiative to help out in the whole process. The eye frames assistant Leonor and I just looked at each other while Leonor was cleaning my old eyeglasses in preparation for my new prescription glasses. So there was a convo between one of the women there and Leonor about the situation and apparently, Dr. Maiorano has not signed my prescription which was needed for my new prescription glasses to be started which will take like two more hours or so. So what's the point of me seeing Dr. Maiorano? He had an assistant with him inside the room where he examined my eyes. What was that assistant there for? And there were two other ladies outside the door when I left his room. Then when I left, I called their office to have the boss of the manager call me but until now, no one has ever called me to fix their mess.
I would not recommend this clinic. The front desk staff were rude and unhelpful. Although I have valid vision insurance, it was not properly verified on their end. Instead, I was given unclear and inconsistent explanations, including being told that my premium card may not have been activated. Ultimately, I was required to pay out of pocket for my annual vision screening. The justification provided was that the charge was for a refraction performed by a specialist, which was not clearly communicated beforehand whereas it was the optometrist who did the screening. Overall, the experience lacked transparency and professionalism.
