America’s Best Optometrist

The Americas Best on Barry Road was great and they really helped me out! I originally had an appointment on Monday at a different location and I asked if they could do my appointment today instead (2 days before) and Torrie was able to squeeze me in! I was wanting sunglasses and a pair of glasses and they were able to help me out with that without spending overly my budget! Torrie was very knowledgeable on every question I had, and she was super easy to work! I think she was also training someone, and she was doing a phenomenal job on that as well! I definitely recommend the America’s Best on Barry Road! Super nice, super helpful! 10/10

Torrie and Dr. Petro are amazing! Both are super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Torrie helped me make a same day appointment and was able to answer any questions that I had. They got me in and out in less than 45 minutes! I also signed up for the eye care club. $129 for 3 years of free exams, which is a great deal. This was my second visit in less than a year for an exam and it was completely free of charge with my membership.

I've been coming to this location since high school, and I've always liked this location. My husband and I travel for a living now, I can schedule us for anywhere I can find an America's Best, and for 3 years I did in AZ, but this one is still my favorite. Our Doctor, a new one I'd never seen before was amazing, and answered all of our questions. My husband had a lot, it was his first eye appointment in 23 years. If you do come to this location please expect to wait, this location is and always has been busy. The people working here are doing their best to help you so don't give them too much grief.

I have been going to this franchise for many years, different locations, my last appointments for my daughter and I have been at the Chouteau Location but they didn’t have an open appointment for today Friday! They had an opening at the Barry Road location, when I booked it, I didn’t realize it was a remote appointment until I got there!! I got very nervous about it when the lady took me to the room and told me that this appointment was remote, I am glad I stayed, the First Lady that did my exams in the first room was so kind, caring, and explained everything She was doing, the Second Lady for the remote appointment was also super sweet, Dr Matthew was also very nice and professional!! At the checkout area the manager helped me with my contact glasses, got a free trial box, He was also so nicest caring , also took the time to explain to me how to clean and care for my contact lenses!!! Thank you so much to everyone! You guys are amazing, thank you for a wonderful visit!

I bought glasses from Americas Best in Nov 2025. I had my eye exam done there as well. I picked up my glasses in December 2025 really tried to make them work, I went back in March 2026 Americas Best replaced my lenses as they had mesaured them wrong....Never called me to let me know the lenses were in. I finally got my lenses replaced called back the next day to ask for a refund as the glasses were still not working for me. My distance was very blurry. The manager would not return my call and told the associate that I was past the 30 day refund timeline. I have called corporate and they have not called me with any resolution. I went to a new eye doctor and my prescription is wrong!!!! Bottom line I have 2 pairs of glasses for nearly $600 that I cannot not use!!! DO NOT GO TO AMERICA'S BEST they have no integrity!
