I have been a member of Costco for many years but have only recently discovered their Optical Department. I have purchased my glasses from Costco many years before getting my eyes checked there first, but have found that it is quite the convenience when doing one-stop shopping for a busy mom! Especially when I had 3 boys at home, a family of 5 that wore glasses! We all went in together, got our eyes checked, picked out our new frames and 10 days later I had 5 pairs of new glasses for under $200 with our insurance! Those were the days!! Now my husband and I are both wearing trifocals that we want special affects with on our glasses and 1 son we buy glasses for with special affects too, and our insurance doesn’t cover it all anymore - I wish we could get out of there under $200 but they still have the best prices and guarantee that I can find! Plus no one can beat their quality and selection in frames! Their customer service is the best too! Check them out - I am sure you’ll love them as much as I do!

Shameful. The “eye doctor” pushes pricey upsells and bullies into believing if you don’t purchase these upsells, you’ll likely miss something deadly. Additionally, was given a prescription and order glasses only to find out from a second screening, after migraines and nausea, that I have perfect vision and no need for glasses.
I am giving 4 stars because of my initial eye exam experience. I’d rate my initial eye exam 1 star, however, after coming back to return my glasses due to the fact that they do not work for me, I had a much better experience after speaking with a gentleman that works in the optical department, named Rich. This gentleman was so attentive to my concerns and was incredibly helpful in what we could do moving forward. He seemed to genuinely care about my experience with Costco and their optical department and seemed very willing to help me and help rectify the situation. After my initial eye exam experience, I unfortunately will not be returning to see the optometrists there, however, I would gladly return to the optical department to purchase new frames because of the great experience I had today. Thank you so much, Rich!
I have such a great experience. Everyone is so nice, doctor , blond hair girl , receptionist and the one who trained me. Everyone was so helpful and patient. I urgently need replacement since my temporary lens were about to expire. Block hair lady gave me more till since my doctor is away for while. Castco optical 10/10
**Almost an hour wait - dirty equipment** I've been going there for the last couple of years, and it's always the same. While the recipients/ assistants are fairly nice, they appear to not know what they're doing. Equipment was dirty from the last patient. My appt was being skipped, and it took almost an hour to be seen. From all the reviews, it seems I'm not far off in my experience. They need more training or fresh faces, IMHO.
